The mayhem within the cafeteria infuriated her. Pressing her lips into a thin line, she opened her bag, got her earphones, plugged them into her phone and inserted them on her ears. She swiftly scrolled through the music list and chose a particular piano piece which is her favorite.
Fur Elise is really nice.
Some would think that it's creepy due to the fact that it was played on an Asian horror movie. But to her, it wasn't. She totally liked it though. She closed her eyes then let herself sink into the fullness of the notes, drifting. But then—
She opened her eyes and bit her lip. What was that?
Why did his face suddenly appear on her mind?
She wasn't thinking about him, she's certain. And the realization dawned on her.
Ah, that's right. She used to play this with him everytime they were alone.
She fixed her attention to the two who were happily eating their lunch, smiling to each other looking like lovesick puppies. She looked down at her food which was still untouched and glared at it as if it has some sort of a poison. She then felt that familiar sting again.
Dear Rosaline,
How long did you suffer?
She picked up her spoon from the plate and brought it to her lips.
