One Mistake

I was out cold for about five minutes, when I woke up, I was still Nialls arms. I looked around and noticed that I was in something that looked a little bit like a nurses office. Alex looked straight at me "Izzy you're awake, how are you feeling and what happened?" I smiled at Alex "I saw someone that used to be in the orphanage with me, we used to be best friends. But one day she she was just different and we weren't friends anymore she got adopted and I never saw her again until today." Alex looked worried she smiled at me and Niall "come on I think it's time to go"

We thanked the principal for showing us around, he said " Isabel you are welcome to start next week if that was okay with you and your family." I nod "thank you Mr Otis, we will think about it" after that we went straight home to have some lunch.

Later that night I had a text from an unknown number, 'hi izzy it's lilly! I just wanted to check you were ok after earlier??' I was too scared to answer I put my phone away. I walked back down the stairs when I saw Alex looked really upset, she tried to put on a brave face but I knew there was something wrong. "Do you remember phoebe from the orphanage"I nodded "well she is in hospital, I'm sorry she has bone cancer, in her hip. Brooke rang me earlier to let me know incase you wanted to go and see her" I burst out crying she was like a sister to me they all were, I thought about all the good times we had. The water fight, and when we both slipped and both broke out little fingers!! And when it was my birthday and phoebe got me a candle that had different layers and different smells. In the end she stole it back because she liked it so much!! And that morning when Niall and Alex came in Phoebe said that they were just there for publicity. That made me think what if they only adopted me because they would look good?! I lost my thoughts when the house phone rang, it was the school.

"Thank you Mr Otis, she will be there 8.30 Monday morning" after that Alex hung up and smiled, "they are emailing through a copy of your time table so you can get organised ready for Monday, you had best go to bed now, it's almost 10pm you have things to organise in the morning" I smiled and walked up to my room I was sleeping with in minuets!!
