•Janus's P.O.V.•
The sun was shining, the air was warm, and it was starting to feel like summer already. But sadly it was barely halfway through May and I was walking to town because I didn't have a car and my friends wanted to meet up for coffee. And of course, they wanted to do it at eight in the morning.
My only relief was my music. I had my earbuds in, listening to Nothing More to wake me up. I sang quietly as I walked, ignoring the sun above my head.
"And all is gone, the only loss, to not have loved at every cost," I sang, a smile appearing on my lips. Now, I wasn't a bag singer, but I wasn't all that great either. No matter to me, not like anyone was listening.
The town was busy since it was Saturday, everyone was enjoying their two days off from school and work. I swung into a local coffee shop, spotting my friends immediately. They weren't a wily bunch, nor did they stick out in a crowd, but for some reason we just always seemed to draw attention. I took a seat next to my friend Katie, letting out a loud groan.
"Why did you guys have to be awake this early in the god damned morning?" I glared. My other two friends here were Lenny and Oliver, the boys of the group.
"Come on, you know we don't sleep." Lenny chuckled. "I ordered you come hot cocoa."
"This is why I like you Lenny." I pointed accusingly at him. "Oliver, learn something from him. You might get a girlfriend."
"Yes, because Lenny's had so many in the past." He adjusted his glasses, smirking at the boy.
"Anyway, why did you guys want me here?" I asked as the waitress brought us our drinks. "You only wake the bear when you've got something important to say."
"Well, you heard about the incident at the old Fredbear family diner, right?"
"Yes. Go on."
"Well, you know they opened up a new building just last week, right?" Katie said, grinning. She looked especially dressed up today; her auburn hair was curled, nirvana shirt, ripped jeans and her famous black flannel. I always felt so underdressed compared to her. My usual leggings and favorite sweatshirt adorned me today, and I hadn't even bothered brushing my hair. One good thing about the pastel purple dye I used: it kept things from knotting.
"Seriously? You've got to be kidding."
"No, I'm not." A hint of mirth edged her blue irises. "We were thinking it might be worth it to try and sneak in after hours."
"Now that's a bad idea." I said in all seriousness. "What are we going to do? Walk in and hide somewhere until midnight?"
"That's actually not a bad idea, Janus." Oliver grinned. "So it's settled then, to Freddy's it is."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, I never said I'd go along with this."
"Doesn't matter. You came up with the idea, you know the rules." Lenny grinned harshly. I swore under my breath, smacking my head on the table.
"Yeah, I know. So, when do you guys want to go in and do this?"
"Well I mean, it's open to all ages." Katie laughed. "We could go in now, scope the place out, figure out where the best places to hide would be. I hear they have pretty good pizza too."
"Okey dokey, let's get this over with then." I sighed. "If we're going to go, let's go, I'm not going to sit around all day."

"Oh my god, this place is huge."
I was staring at the map on the wall by the entrance, seeing four separate party rooms and the huge main stage. Then there was kids cove and the game area. There were kids as old as thirteen and fourteen running around in here, talking to the animatronics. It still bothered me how they could actually speak and respond.
"Bonnie!" One of the little brats shouted. "Can I play your guitar?"
"Sure kiddo!" He said, handing the boy his guitar. The boy plucked a few strings before handing it back.
"Thank you Bonnie!"
"Well isn't Bon Bon just the cutest?" Katie smiled, walking up to him. "Hi there."
"Hey sweetheart!" He said, which made Katie's face light up red. "Are you here for a party?"
"No, my friends and I wanted to see what this place looked like."
"Well do you like it? Everything's brand new!"
"It is pretty nice." She laughed, and I cleared my throat. "I have to go Bon Bon, see you later!"
"Bon Bon?" I asked as she caught up to me.
"He's adorable, he needs an adorable name."
"To be honest, I assumed Bonnie was a girl. But I guess Chica's the only girl here." I looked to see a robotic chicken walking around, a let's party! bib around her neck. Then there was Freddy, up on stage with his mic and classy top hat.
"Well, there's Foxy."
I looked around, spotting a pink and white fox like being walk around. But it wasn't nearly as put together as the other animatronics. It looked like it had been pulled apart, put back together, and had the same process done to it about twenty times over. It even had a second head, which creeped me out beyond belief.
A boy laughed, and I turned to see yet another animatronic staring at me. He held out a balloon from the mass that he had, it just happened to match my hair.
"For the pretty miss." He laughed, walking away again after I took it. My cheeks lit up just as bad as Katie's had when talking to Bonnie.
"See, even a robot can tell you're pretty." Katie snickered.
"Shut up." I glared, feeling obligated to keep it. I tied it around my wrist so it wouldn't float off. "Let's go see what other animatronics are here."
"According to the list, there's only one."
We walked towards the prize corner, hearing a musical tune as we approached. It was and old song is heard as a child, and a bunch of kids seemed to be waiting in front of a massive blue box for the ending. We stopped and waited as well, and as the song played I began to remember the lyrics.
"Every night when I get home, the monkeys on the table," I sang to myself. "Take a stick and knock it off, pop! goes the weasel."
At the pop, the box top opened, a figure wearing a mask and made of painted black wood popped out. Now I know why they called it the Marionette. The thing was strung up and moving jaggedly, but the kids seemed to enjoy it still.
"Come on Katie." I grabbed my friends hand. "Let's go find somewhere to hide."
