Amy lead me into the bedroom so I could clean myself up. She sat me down on the bed. "Wait here. I'll be right back." She rushed out of the bedroom. I was about to lie down, until. Heard a crash. I gasped. I was about to get up until she shouted,"I'm okay!" Damn. The last time I remember was that Amy always acted clumsy when I was around. She was always hovering over me to get my attention. When me and Sally were dating, she respected our privacy, but when we were out in the open, she would always be right beside me. For a second I think she might just come running back in here to hug me. I flinch. She's not coming. I let out a sigh of relief and relax. Why am I acting like this? Maybe she changed Sonic? You can't just assume that she's still the same? Can you? "How's your face?" I jumped. I turned around. Amy was in her bathroom getting a wash cloth wet.

I stared at her. Bewildered. How long had she been there? Dammit Sonic! You gotta stop talking to yourself. "Uh.. Oh it's fine," I replied. She smiled. "Good. I thought I might've made you slightly unattractive." "Unattractive? Ha. I'll always be attractive sweetheart," I said in a sarcastic tone. Amy started laughing. "Oh I'm so sorry. I must've fogot that the Speed Demon will never be unattractive as long as he is alive." "And is still hooking up with the ladies." I did the eyebrow. Amy started laughing histarically. I couldn't help myself. I started laughing as well. We both laughed for a while. When we finally settled down, I realized something. "Amy," I said. "Yes?" I needed to ask her. "Me and everyone have been thinking about you for a while." "Me?" "Ya. Anyway. There's this special town event coming up and we all know that you haven't been out of this house fora while, so we thought that you might've wanted to come. I mean if you want to," I finished. Amy stared at me in shock. "I-I-I-I-I...." She sighed.

"Really Sonic. You came all this way to tell me that," she said. I nodded. She sighed again. "I just.... Ughh. I can't. I'm sorry. She walked towards the door. "Amy! Wait!" I got up and walked over to her. I grabbed her hands. "Please Amy. Everyone is worried sick about you. Hell! Cream can barely even sleep anymore knowing why you've locked yourself up in here! Please Amy. All I'm asking is that you come to just this one event! Everyone misses you. I miss you." Amy looked flustered. We stared at each other. She sighed. "Just one event?" I nodded. "Just one event." She sighed. "I can not believe I'm about to say this," she muttered. She looked me straight in the eyes. "Fine. What time?" I smiled. "It's starts at 8:00. Pick you up at 5:00?" "Woah! Now hold on there sugar hog. Lets not rush this. 6:30." "7:30." "Deal," she said.

"Then it's settled. I shall pick you up at 7:30 milady," I said. I bowed. She laughed. "Okay. See you then." She walked me towards the door. "Oh and Sonic?" I turned around. "Don't be late. Please." I smiled. "Do you even have to tell me." I rushed back to Tail's house to everyone the news. I couldn't believe it. She was coming. SHE WAS COMING!!!!!! For once, I actually thought life couldn't get any better than this.
