"FATHER! Leave me alone. I told you I refuse to marry someone I have never met!" Princess Elizibeth's hair whipped around with her head her dark brown hair flying in a circle. Her blue eyes murderous.

"It is not your decision!" Her father turned his angry brown eyes onto his wife, "She's your daughter, talk to her!" He crossed his arms and stared down his daughter.

"Sweetheart, our marriage was arranged and together we have made this country a better place, and by marrying Spain you will fill your promise to this country to make it a better place, you'll put a treaty in place and end any wars that were even thought about, and with your new husband you'll make his country a better place. You'll make peoples lives better." Her mother face gazed at her, and she was a women to fear, her high cheek bones, and stern face made her everyone's fright, but Elizebeth stood her ground.

"You talk about your duty to your country, and his country. But what about your duty to yourselves! Can you truly say you're completely happy with your lives? Mom! I've heard you talk about your lifelong friend, and how you thought you loved him! And Dad I know that you could have found someone that you could have loved more than just as your ruler but as a wife and lifelong friend. I want to find someone that I will truly be happy with, and if that means not becoming Queen then so be it! And make the peoples life better," Elizibeth smiled bitterly, "You mean give the courtiers more parties while the peasants, and servants struggle to rub to silver pieces together? Is that what you mean?"

Elizibeth for that second looked more fierce that her parents, "I will not now nor ever marry that Prince!" Elizibeth stalked away her dress billowing frightfully behind her.

"ELIZIBETH! Don't you walk away from me!" He went to step forward, but his wife grabbed his elbow.

"Honey, lets wait till morning until everyone has had a chance to cool off." She gave a small smile, and he knew she was right. They walked off in the opposite direction of their daughter heading towards their chambers, their servants a few steps ahead of they helped them disrobe and into sleeping attire, and together they fell asleep.
