My head hurt. Bad. And I was cold. It hurt to open my eyes. I couldn't move but I could tell where I was. I was in a basement. It was dark. I could tell I was in a cage. I knew I had been kidnapped. I tried to sit up but it hurt too much. I lay there, cold and I started to cry. I didn't know if id ever get out of here, if id survive. I cried myself to sleep. I woke up about four hours later. My headach was gone and I could sit up now, although it still hurt to move. I examined the basement quickly, at first not noticing the other cage, but then soon realizing I wasn't alone. I squinted and I could just barely make out a figure in the other cage.

"Hey are you alive?" I whispered.

No answer.

"Are you dead?" I whispered a little louder.

The figure moved.

"No but I'm hurt bad." Said the caged girl.

"Why are we here? I asked.

"He hasn't shown you yet?" The girl asked surprised.

"Shown me what?"

The girl didn't answer.

"What hasn't he shown me?" I asked loudly

The girl was silent. She put a finger to her lips then pointed to the ceiling.

"If he hears that your awake, he will come down here."

I looked up the stairs to the basement door. When I looked back at the girl she was back in the position she was before. I layed back down and thought about what was going to happen to me. I started thinking about my mom and dad, then of my boyfriend. I missed them. And I would probably never see them again. I felt a tear go down my cheek.
