The main law is no weapons. Well thats been broken millions of times. Without weapons you can't stop the people with weapons!
I was sitting in a rugged old chair staring at my work bench, searching for the right part. My workbench had everything scattered over it like a beautiful piece of artwork, in my opinion. Suddenly, i found it. I tinkered with it to make it the exact size i need it to be and then i gently pushed it into the hand size bomb.
"Abigail!" My mom called for me. "Its time to go to bed, honey!" I rolled my eyes and said "yes mom!" I shove the mini bomb into the left pocket of my jacket and turned off the lights. The old wooden floors creaked as i tip toed over to my bed, aka a couch, and sat exactly in the middle of it.
I sat there for at least 20 minutes and then walked to my window, trying to make least sound as posable. The window was a struggle to open, sense it decides to never like me, but i manage to open it just enough to slip threw.
My house wasn't big at all, just a one story house. Everyone here is poor and feels sorry for themselves every day. Im sick of it! If your poor then make some money! If you cant then to bad you'll die poor! Right as my toes hit the ground i started to run.
I had to make it in time or I'm literally dead. My bomb dangled in my pocket, awaiting its turn for attention. I ran past the church and threw the fields. Suddenly, i stopped in front of a barn. The barn door was dangling and the whole place looked like it would fall at any moment. I squeezed my body threw the tiny opening, fearing that if i touched the door then the barn was done for.
A firm hand clutched onto my shoulder and then another on my mouth. "You got to bomb?" A deep voice asked. I stuck out my tongue to make the person get his or her hand away from my mouth.
"EWW!" His voice was way more high pitched now, sense he wasn't trying to sound manly. "Why did you do that?!" He complained with a vicious expression on his face. "Well not like i could talk while your ginormous hand was over it, Adam!" He rolled his eyes.
"Well, do you have to bomb?" Adam questioned me like i couldn't do anything. "naw i forgot to make it." I said with a sarcastic tone. "May i have it?" He asked. I handed Adam the bomb and he pulled out a Walky talky and handed it to me. "Do you want to do the call?" He asked. "Of course i want to!" I rudely pulled the Walky Talky from his hand and pressed the small round button on the side. "Plan Bombing is in full action! Repeat full action! Begin placement."
At that second, Adam and I set the bomb to 1 hour, and placed it in the middle of the barn. Although it was small, it would make a huge explosion. Fyi thats not the only bomb. Its one out of 53 bombs placed around the city. "You ready to run, fatty?" I joked around with Adam. he stared down at his belly an jiggled the chub. "is it that fat?" he asked as he started with a sprint and got faster and faster as time went on.
We were about our of the city when a cop spotted us. Ugh night duty cops! They shouldn't even exist!!! He stopped us immeadiatly by pulling out a gun. "Where did you get that?" I asked him. "Why are you running?" Replied the cop. "It gets me to places faster. Now why do you have a gun?" He gave me a death glare. "Because it stops midnight runners faster." I smirked and then said, "well i never saw you with a gun if you never saw me running with the idiot next door." I pointed to Adam. "Hey!" Adam replied. "RUDE!"
The cop's gun was pointed at me. I pulled a gun from my pocket and pointed it at Adam. "If you shoot at me i shoot at him." I replied to the cop. "So.... We never saw each other com-pronto?" The cop nodded his head in agreement. "Give me your gun." I demanded. The cop refused the loosen his grip from the illegal weapon. "Ok." I said. Suddenly i tripped the officer, grabbing his gun and pointed both weapons at him.
"Yo adam!" I said. "Do you think this pork product is trust worthy?" Adam shook his head no and i handed him a gun. "Shoot him." I said firmly as posable. Adam's hand trembled as he touched the gun. His face got bright red and his legs went weak. "We don't have all day!" I demanded. "We don't even have an hour!" He trimbled even more. I clutched over his hand and pulled the trigger.
Adam dropped the gun with fear in his eyes. "You have to protect yourself and your identity." I said. "No cuts no buts no idiots saying otherwise." I picked up the gun he dropped. Adam stared at the dead body. Blood ran down the man's forehead and his eyes were dead open, staring into nothing. I kicked the body once. "Lets move on" i said and then pulled Adam away from the dead cop.
Adam's eyes were still wide with shock even after we got out of indiana. He managed to say something. "Don't u feel a little sad?" He went on "i mean.. Like... We are being really selfish... Like we are technically killing innocent people to get away.. We could have found a different way... Couldn't we?" We were walking threw long, uncut grass. I frowned at him. "We are doing them a favor. They always complaining. They don't even try to help themselves! Its their fault."
I kept charging on threw the meadow like area. "Try not thinking about it. We cant reverse our action anyways... To far away. We cant get back in the next five minutes." I trembled. Every word he says makes me feel worse about my actions. I shook it off and stared forward, trying to forget. "Bu.." I cut him off. "Stop talking!" I said. "Please!" My eyes were watery, making it even harder to see threw the dark sky. I looked down at the ground stopping instantly.
Adam stopped, trying to think of what to say. "Ehm... Do you want to sleep a little... To... You know... Little more energy...." I looked up at him. "Yeah.." I responded. "Should we like both sleep... Or like take turns... Make sure nothing happens." He smiled a little. "You can sleep. I know you need it more than me. Ill keep watch." I grinned a little back at him. "Thanks." I said in return.
He searched around for wood to make a fire. Finally, he dropped a huge pile is wood on the ground and tried to rub two together to make a fire. I stare at his as he kept trying. "Heads up!" I said as i threw him a lighter. "Thanks." He replied and then started the fire instantly. "Night." I said as i sat down next to the fire. I leaned on the tree right behind me and instantly fell asleep.
