It all started in the summer of 2013, it had happened to be my birthday coming up so I was sorta excited knowing that my best friend, Lydia was gonna throw me a suprise party. But, I wasn't excited know I already knew the suprise. On the day of my birthday it didn't go as planned. My boyfriend of 6 months dumped me on my birthday. And to top that of he didn't even remember that it was my birthday. Typical boy... So, then my mom tells me their going on a year long trio to South Africa for a new animal species. I was gonna miss them so much, but they had to go. They told me my older sister would be checking on me. Being home alone isn't the way I pictured my birthday. But then Lydia called me saying to meet her at her house. I got excited knowing that that was her suprise party. After getting ready in a high-low light purple dress with black suede heels and a black belt, I felt as if I were all set.
As I was getting their my heart started to pound as I got closer to the beige walled house as I was walking up to her front door I didn't here whispering. I didn't think any hung of it. When I rung the door bell, Lydia answered the in sweats and a black crop top and bunny slippers.
Lydia: "Why are you all dressed up for a birthday sleepover."
Me: "Sleepover? What sleepover? You never told me sleepover."
Lydia: "Yeah I did. I texted you like 20 minutes ago, saying that you were sleeping over."
And that's when I broke down crying...
