It seemed the note had finally gotten into Sophia's thick skull as Everett waltzed her around the room. She was rigid with nerves, something even Everett could tell. Perhaps the man would do this tonight, that awful rouge would come after them on their wedding night, Sophia's first night of being Queen. Everett dipped low to kiss Sophia once the song had ended for a new one to begin. Everett couldn't help but wonder what the hell was wrong with his wife, his queen.
" Wife, what's wrong?" He questioned twirling her in circles to persevere the smile and blush upon her cheeks. Tonight he savored her, then it went back to the Castle, the kingdom.
" Nothing, just overwhelmed at all the love." Sophia locked the drawer with all the Rouge information back into her mind and brought back the lovely smile that graced her lips from marrying her mate. Tonight was about him, and only him.
" I love you, my Sophia Lee." The words were astonishing and beautiful from his mouth. A beautiful tragedy, she wasn't love able, she was not something worth loving.
" I love you." The words were whispered quietly, Sophia stopped dancing eruptly, reaching her arms to wrap around her new husbands body. Burying her small body into his unashamed. She was his and that- that was terrifying for a girl with a life time of insecurities telling her she wasn't good enough.
" Oh dear. How lucky I am." Those six words could melt Sophia's heart in a moment, just enough to tell her she was wanted. By him none the less.
" I do believe that I am the lucky one Mr. Romero." Sophia's heart was stuttering but the night was still young and much to do.
" Come on love, let's eat." Everett drug his bride to the table in the front of the room whom his family was also sitting at laughing. His Mother and father on his right and his siblings on Sophia's left. Everett thummed a rhythm across her back while she sat and picked at her food happily listening to the conversation around them. The Alpha's were talking which of course after the main course the two would have to go around talking to everyone. Of course the winter was coming and fast, this meant more treaties for the other packs and snow, lots of snow and freezing temperatures. The kingdom had a treat with everyone but it helped the other packs to make their own.
"Love, Eat." Everett demanded kissing her cheek gently. Mia looked over at her brother and brand new loving sister, she wanted that with a mate. She wanted her own mate to love and care about.
" I would like to take my sister to dance it up for awhile, you can go talk to the Alpha's and get her in awhile." Mia proposed grasping Soph's pulling her up.
" Half an hour, she's my wife." Everett reminded his annoying sister as she dragged away his wife. Though his sister was right, he needed to welcome the Alpha's and make sure the meeting was set for tomorrow. Slowly he made his way over to the group to discuss and watch his wife dance from afar freely. She was opening up to become, a wonderful, stubborn, stunning women.
" Remi, Hello. I expect you'll be at the meeting tomorrow. "
" Yes Alpha. Congratulations on your marriage. She's lovely." Everett grasped the man's neck his protective wolf taking over growling lowly to not disturb the party.
" If you say anything about my mate again I'll kill you instantly." Everett threatened while the man nodded putting his King face back on, only released to his family but most importantly his wife. The time was nearing nine and his wolf was restless to bed his mate after their marriage. Especially after having an unmated Alpha look at his wife. A king Alpha was very protective of his Queen, heat would soon surface, and then babies in the cold season. September was coming to a rapid end, which meant officially winter for the wolves.
