My alarm goes off and I shoot up out of bed. Making a small dinosaur sound as I stretch, I walk to my bathroom and take a quick shower. Senior year is almost over and I've never been happier. Actually I have but that's not the point. Eleanor, my mother, claims she has a surprise for me that she has been dying to tell me about since Christmas  and today is the day it's revealed.

I do my normal routine and quickly walk down the stairs. "Morning, sleeping beauty," she chirps, kissing the top of my head. I smile at her and walk over to the refrigerator.

"You're not going to school today because I booked you a shoot with Tiffany. Feel free to go change into something comfortable and take your makeup off," she orders. I nod my head eagerly, knowing how excited she gets when I get "excited" for a shoot.

Fifteen minutes later I return and see that she already made my smoothie. I quickly drink it and we leave the place I call home.

"Mum, I love doing the shoots and all but I can't keep missing school. I've already lost one year. Please don't make me lose another."

"Skeez, I did that so you wouldn't have to suffer anymore. I know you hate school so I decided to give you a break. Understand that missing a year was all for you," She glances at me for a second then quickly returns her attention to the road. Unbelievable. "I understand," I mumble.

We arrive at my mothers office and I am quickly pushed towards hair and makeup. "Okay, we have a little while before the shoot starts so I'm going to give you a facial. Don't open your eyes until we tell you to," one of the artist demand me. I give an okay and close my eyes, immediately feeling cold wetness hit my cheek.

Someone tells me they are going to start my hair and to keep my eyes closed. "Thought you you said you'd never become a model," a familiar voice says as they run their fingers through my hair. "You can open your eyes," they giggle.

"Lou!" I gasp, pulling her into a tight hug. She continues to laugh as she squeezes me tighter. "You look amazing Skeez!" Lou exclaims pulling away to twirl me around. "So do you. God I've missed you."

Lou's dad and my father are brothers. When we were little we were inseparable. As we got older, she went to cosmetic school and got a job doing hair for One Direction. "Believe me, I've missed you more. But hey! There's another surprise," she giggles, wiping the face mask off of me and then stepping to the side, revealing the curly haired boy I grew up with, along with his friends. All to soon, the memories came back and it took everything in me not to cry. But like I said, pretending to be happy became a part of me.

"E?" Harry whispers. "Yeah. But don't call me that," I say awkwardly.

"Hi, I'm Skeez," I greet the other boys, leaving Harry standing there alone.

"I'm Liam. This is Niall and Louis. It's nice to meet you." They all offer me warm smiles and glance at each other before pulling me into a tight embrace. "It's nice to meet you too," I giggle. Harry clears his throat and we all pull away. "Skeez, it's time to come back," someone calls. I excuse myself and walk to the dressing room. "I'll see you guys later," I smile.

Three hours later the shoot ended and the whole time I could feel Harry's eyes watch me. Things are so different now and I'm hoping he knows that.

"You looked beautiful!" My mother gushed, pulling me into a tight hug. "Thanks," I mumble, ready to get out of these clothes.

"We are all going grab lunch at Delilah Deli. Meet us there when you're changed." Lou says, kissing my cheek before walking away with everyone. I manage to smile but as soon as they're out of sight I sigh and run my fingers through my ungodly hair. Feeling tired of being ordered around, I decided to be fashionably late.
