"Siiiisss!" I screamed at my best friend as I joined him in voguing to the music I played as we got ready.

"I swear I wear this shirt 5 days a week." He mumbled after stopping to fix the stray blonde hairs that had become loose from dancing.

"You don't, but you could pull it off."
"Really?" He giggled

I nodded and walked out of the bathroom, pulling on a pair of shoes that best matches my outfit and walked out to the car. After a few minutes Scott came out as well and knocked on my window.

I furrowed my eyebrows and pointed to the other door, motioning that it was unlocked. He followed with an 'unroll the window' action, and so I obliged.

"Get into the passengers side."
"Scott, I can drive. We're just going to the studio."
"Mitch, scoot."

I rolled my eyes and swung myself over to the other chair, and he got in. I gave a questioning look and he smiled.

"We're not going to work on anything today."
"Oh, realllly."
"Yes."
"We can't just skip, Scooter."
"We're not, everyone already knows. There's no arranging today."
"Scott.."
"Shhh, you'll see."

We drove into the city and I acted like I could care less but in reality I loved the anticipation that rose every second. Where is he taking me?

"Scott I'd rather not go clubbing during the day, it's not as fun."

He laughed
"We're not going clubbing."

I laid back in my chair, not really knowing of anything else we'd be doing in this area of town.

After driving a bit longer with Tori's voice ringing from our stereo, we pulled up in front of an amusement park. I could see the tall roller coasters and upside down pirate ships from miles away. I groaned and looked over at Scott, who was smiling from ear to ear.

"Scooott. You know I don't like these rides."
"I know."
"Then..Why, exactly..?"

He pulled into a spot and got out without another word. I did so as well and slumped behind him.

"Honestly Scott, why did you bring me here? Is it gonna be a group of people? I'm gonna be a downer I-"
"No, Mitch. Just us. Hushhh, I promise you'll have fun."

I sighed and we entered the gates, being met with overly cheery workers.

"Thank you," Scott held tightly onto the huge funnel cake and I grabbed the change that he had completely forgotten.

"I can see what your priorities are," I chuckled, holding out the money as we sat on an open bench. He blushed and took the dollars, stuffing them into his pocket.

We both sat and ate the greasy and incredibly delicious cake while watching the people around us silently. There were the families that weren't having as much of a good time as they probably intended, the teens walking around in groups, repeatedly gawking at everything around them, and the couples that have probably only been on two rides but have already had a ton of fun.

After people watching a bit more and finishing the cake, I looked to Scott.

"Did you seriously pay $30 for a wristband in here just to get a funnelcake that was another $6?"
" No, I payed $30 to get a funnelcake and a corndog, a snocone, cotton candy, and some of that disgusting pizza.."

We both laughed but I still raised my eyebrows at him, unknowingly.

"Okay, follow me. I promise you're gonna be really excited."
