Kurt was going to stand up to Karofsky today.
The only thing that could happen is getting beat up, but that happens anyway.
Kurt walked to his locker and opened it. A frame with Blaine's school picture was hanging and under it magazine clippings of the word "Courage" under it.
Courage
He noticed Karofsky walking up to him and he took a deep breath. As if it was any day Karofsky pushed him against his locker.
Courage. Courage. Courage.
"What is your problem?!"
Karofsky turned around. "What did you say?"
"You heard me."
"Don't push me, Hummel" Karofsky said as he pulled Kurt into the boys locker room.
"What are you going to do?!"
Karofsky clenched his fists and started to get mad.
"Stop."
"Look at you. Your just a scared little boy!"Karofsky pulled him in for a kiss.
My first kiss. Stop. Let me go. It feels like I'm drinking pig sweat. This is DISGUSTING.
It backfired. Why did I think this would work?
Kurt tried to shake Karofsky off but he wouldn't budge. Finally he let go and just stared at Kurt. Kurt's face was a mix between shock and terror. Karofsky tried to go in for a second kiss but Kurt dodged it.
"Tchh" Karofsky said and left.
Kurt started to cry. His first kiss was horrible. Besides Brittany, who didn't count because she was a girl, Kurt had never kissed anyone until just now. He screamed, "Why!"
A jock appeared in the room and Kurt was still crying on the floor.
"Eww. Homo, get out! Don't watch me change."
Kurt got up grabbed his bag and ran. He didn't know where to go but his first instinct was to leave. He called Blaine and asked to meet at Kurt's house after he got off. Blaine answered about half a minute later saying "Sure. I have a half-day so be there around 11"
The clock read 7:27am. The school day hadn't even started and Kurt felt the light fall from his face. He was completely pale.
Kurt decided the best thing to do was to just drive home, so that's what he did. Kurt was in his junior year and had just worked enough to buy a car so he did. Kurt loved his car. It was a jeep-ish car as he liked to call it; he didn't know even the basic knowledge about cars.
Kurt got home and without being noticed went down to his room and started to cry again. He lay on his ivory bedspread and slowly drifted off.
Hopefully to oblivion.Kurt woke around 11:30am and he had seven messages from Blaine which he carefully read and responded to.
He heard a phone chime and instinctively looked at his phone before realizing Blaine was sitting on the couch.
"How long have you been here?"
"About 25 minutes. It was worth it, I got to see you sleep."
Kurt blushed but then remembered Karofsky. A tear rolled down his face and Blaine moved closer.
"It didn't work."
"What didn't work?"
"Your advice."
"What, why?"
"Because I tried and h-he took me into the locker room and kissed me."
"What?!"
"M-my first real kiss and it felt like I was being smothered by a sweaty pig."
Blaine stared for a second at Kurt and thought for a second. He wanted to but he didn't know if he could. He did.
Blaine leaned in and kissed Kurt.
***author's note***
I'm so tired. This will continue in the next chapter like it was just a new paragraph.
