Huffing and puffing, I reached the stage. I was so nervous. My heart was racing. This was the moment. The moment I'd always hoped for. I bent down to straighten my skirt, and when I looked up, I saw him.

My Ginger Jesus.

Swimming pool blue eyes, in which I could drown. Messed up ginger hair. A long t-shirt, and baggy jeans. Sneakers. And my favourite smile. The smile he just flashed at me. The smile that would easily melt million hearts.

The person I had always seen in pictures, the person I'd always swooned at, the person whose pictures filled my room back at the loft.

Ed. Sheeran.

Smiling at me. Waving at me. Indicating me to go and stand beside him. Conversate with him. And right then, my mother's parting words hit me like a visceral memory. "everything's going to change now, isn't it?". My heart seemed to have formed a reply on its own to my mother's statement.

Indeed.

Everything was going to change.

My dream had come true.
