Prologue

5 years ago before present

"And the winner for Xfactor UK 2010 is..." A drum roll was heard in the background as we were all nervous wrecks, holding each others hands and hoping that we'd win this year as the first girl band.

"Right after this commercial break! We'll be right back" We all groaned in annoyance. Couldn't they just put a stop to our suffering, we were already nervous enough.

"I cannot believe that they just did that, out of all times" Tanisha rolled her eyes. Yasmine went out to go get water for all of us,while Shailene was talking with the other contestants.

Meanwhile, I was in deep thought. What would happen if we lose? And how far would we go if we win? . Five minutes later they called us back so that they could announce the winner.

"Alright! We're back with our remaining contestants! Who shall be the winner of this year's Xfactor? Simon your last words before I read out the winner?" The presenter turns to Simon who was standing next to Tanisha.

"Honestly, these girls have been outstanding throughout their journey on Xfactor, we've had our ups and downs but they have worked hard to get where they are now and I'm very proud of them" he smiled at us then the audience clapped.

"Yes it has been an honor to have them with us this year and what about your other boy band that you've been mentoring as well?" He asked.

"My boys...what can I say? They're funny, energetic and easy to work with. I can say I've made some memories with this boys and wish them the best for their futures" I watched as Simon hugged each one of them.

I wasn't going to lie, but the other boys that Simon was mentoring -which were one direction, seemed to have a better chance at winning than us. They were more...outgoing and very attractive too. Maybe they had a little bit to work on but they were better than us by far.

I think we were thinking about winning too much rather than cooperating with each other and if we don't win that could be the reason. Those boys thought about bonding more than winning.

"That's very nice, I can see how much you've all bonded thought the weeks" he smiled at them before turning towards the camera. "So now is the big moment, who is going to win? Scream if you think its going to be One direction"

Half of the room erupted in screams making the presenter chuckle. "Scream if you think it's going to be Harmonized reflection" the other half erupted in screams. It was like the audience was split into two fandoms right in front of you, and it was pretty amusing.

"Haha alright i'll stop with the stalling now. Your winner...of Britians Xfactor 2010...is..." we all crossed our fingers in anticipation.

"ONE DIRECTION!!!" The audience applauded and screams were louder than ever. Confetti and balloons dropped from the ceiling and onto Simon and the boys. We all congratulated each other and clapped for the boys. They deserved it I guess. I smiled at Harry, who I fortunately got to know out of all the boys.

I went to go give him a hug and congratualate him. He smiled and hugged me tighter. "You guys did well too" he whispered in my ear. "Thanks harry" I smiled at him.

We pulled away and I walked back to my girls. They all gave me looks which meant there was going to be a talk after this. The presenter came to us and asked how we were feeling.

Yasmine replied saying " I think we did our very best during our journey, it has been an amazing experience. We're happy for the boys and their win, they deserve it. This isn't the last of us " she smiled with tears in her eyes. I didn't know whether it was tears if joy or tears of sadness...

"Great job girls, we're proud of you and how far you have come, Simon do you have any last words for your girls?"

"Well girls, what can I say? You have grown so much throughout this show and honestly I know - like Yasmine said, this isnt the end of you guys and I just know that you guys will reach your goal" he hugged us all. "Great job girls" and everyone applaued.

"Sad to believe that this is an end to another season of Xfactor this year! Thank you for watching! See you next year" the presenter yelled into the camera. Everyone from previous rounds came onto stage to congratulate the boys.

I guess we tried.

Just to clear things up, yes I know one direction never came first in xfactor but remember this is fiction so this didn't actually happen.
So far the characters are :
Baylynne - (the girl talking in this POV) and played by Barbra palvin
Tanisha- Who is played by jourdan dunn (top right)
Yasmine - who is played by Kate Mara (next to Vanessa hudgens
Shailene- who is played by Vanessa hudgens
Then you have the boys from 1D and there will be more characters introduced later on in the story (:
