She couldn't lie to him, and he knew it. He knew her greatest weakness; his puppy dog eyes and a pout that put even the cutest of children to shame. In the same way that she could not resist his puppy face, he could not resist her in her entirety.

Chocolate brown eyes, silky golden hair, a killer personality that had him head over heels for her, and a body that made even the dense Fire Dragon slayer slightly nervous.

The moment she walked into the guild hall, eyes sweeping over the crowded room, Natsu felt himself rising to his feet. Urges that he himself couldn't explain rose up within him. To protect, to claim, to hold her close. To touch her, to have her completely at his mercy, and to be at hers. Images flit through his head, and he had to admit... he was entertaining the idea that Lucy may like him back. So deep in his thoughts, Natsu hardly noticed Lucy step up behind him, wrapping her arms loosely around his neck, her breasts pressing against his back as she leaned into him. "Natsu," she hummed into his ear, breath fanning against his throat, lips moving close to his ear. He gave a low hum in reply. "I have to tell you something," she whispered, and Natsu's sensitive ears picked up slight chatter from the women in the guild. His nose, almost burning now, could easily scent the alcohol on Lucy's breath.

"Come outside." He murmured, grabbing her hand in a way that was so soft, Natsu wasn't sure if he was holding her hand or a feather. "Warm," Lucy murmured, nuzzling closer to his bare chest, forcing him to a halt, hardly outside the guild hall. He directed her to the wall, back pressed against it, and he realised just how close they had become. He took a step back, scratching the back of his head as he cleared his throat. "Ah, what was it you wanted to tell me?" She waved her hand in between the two of them, eyes wide, body slumping slightly. "It's nothing." She seemed to have sobered up almost completely. "It was a stupid prank. The girls gave me a drink, so you would smell the alcohol, and... and they dared me to... to uh, yeah. To seduce you. They just weren't sure if you were interested in girls, and, uh, they..." Lucy brought her eyes up, finally, to meet his. Natsu's dark eyes were focusing intently on her.

"Stupid prank?" He pressed, frowning slightly, eyes narrowed. He felt his anger rising. A stupid prank to play with his feelings!? He bet his life savings that Gray had told Lucy how Natsu felt, and she had, in turn, told all of the girls in the guild. "I'm sorry, Natsu." She looked torn, her eyes flooding with guilt as Natsu felt his heart being torn from his chest. Betrayal. That's what this is. They betrayed me. Want to play with my feelings. Natsu found himself caging Lucy in, arms on either side of her head, eyes narrowed dangerously as flame licked along his skin. "Why?" He ground out, eyes narrowed in contempt. "To play on my emotions, Luce? I'm guessing that Gray told you that I... Fuck, that I love you!" He slammed the palm of his hot hand beside her head, wood splintering and turning to charcoal.

"Natsu, please," Lucy gripped his forearms, her eyes cast down; forced into some form of submission. She tentatively carressed his soft skin, refusing to meet his eyes as shame filled her entire soul. Natsu growled, deep in his chest, sending vibrations through Lucy's flesh. "Please," she wasn't sure what she was begging for, but the instant Natsu's hand brushed against her cheek, adjusting his body to cage her more effectively, she knew what she wanted. "Natsu, kiss." Her plea had him wide eyed and helpless, body slacking slightly. Her scent, slathered with arousal, was intoxicating. Natsu dipped his head, eyes half lidded as he inspected her closely. "I don't like the fact that you went along with his plan, Luce." Natsu halted his movements, dipping his head lower as Lucy tipped her head to the side to avoid his gaze, shame filling her features. "I'm sorry." Lucy whispered, body stilling as Natsu drew a breath in through his teeth. "Sorry," her nails dug deeper into his flesh as he gave her an open-mouthed kiss on the column of her throat. She closed her eyes, both in fear and anticipation.
