It was a hot sunny noon as the scent of the cherry blossom filled my nostrils,the atmosphere of the spring scenery was enchanting as the bus made a stop.With a small smile,I stepped out and was greeted by people walking in and out of streets,random vehicles passing through and some establishments that seemed to brought back a few of my memories.
My heart was filled with excitement as the wind blew my (H/C) hair.It was truly great to be back in this town!I have made awesome memories with my friends back then.Thoughts came flashing through my mind as I walk in the sidewalk.There were various of delicious sweets as I pass through some of it,deciding to head for a quick shop and ending up with a (F/Flavor of shake) in my hand,quietly slurping the (f/flavor) shake.
Just then,I heard loud bangings coming from the alleyway and caused me to stop dead in my tracks as my eyes widened when I saw a young boy pinned against a wall.He was wearing a blue jacket with the red shirt inside,messy hair and a pair of shorts and sneakers.He curled up a nervous smile,looking at the group of men surrounding him. and one was carrying what seemed to be a knife.
I was in a panic as my mind was trying to figure out the right things to do in this matter.Within a minute,I dashed myself towards them and stomped on the foot of the man who was holding the boy.They seemed to be taken aback by me as I quickly grabbed the boy's hand and pulled us out of the alleyway.
"Come on!"I was huffing and panting,my shake was nowhere to be found and perhaps I had dropped it somewhere when I launched myself towards them.The boy looked just as surprised as the men who was with them just awhile ago.My hand didn't let go of him as I kept on running as fast as I can,pantinh heavily as I was slowing down while the boy encouraged me to keep going as the men were gaining on us behind our backs.
Soon enough,we eventually lost them as we hid behind a garbage dump,trying to catch our breath.
"Who..Who are you?"The boy asked in between his breath,still managing a few words despite of that.
"Can we save up the 20 questions later? I shall..do the same on you.."I replied back,running out of breath just by that."You stay here while I'll go check if they're still there,alright?" He simply nodded as I slowly rose up and quietly leaned my back towards the wall,peeking on the other side and to my surprise,a hand suddenly grabbed me and as I try to scream for the boy to run,my mouth was covered up with a hand.I looked around,seeing the 3 men.
"Heh.You think you can mess around with us,huh? Well this will teach you a lesson!"And with that,his free hand went to grip around my neck,squeezing it painfully as I began chocking.
"What's wrong?Cat got your tongue? Heheheh." I shut my eyes,afraid of what to happen to me as I heard a faint thump on the ground,to be followed by the hand loosening against my neck as I was capable of breathing again.Slowly,I opened my eyes to see the young boy standing beside a tall,masculine figure wearing a hat,a simple shirt and a white clean jacket as they both looked at me worriedly. The men which were chasing after us were lying unconscious on the ground as I let out a sigh of relief.
The tall lad was the one to break the silent,stepping closer to me."Are you alright,Miss?"He asked,his voiced sounding so familiar to me as I answered back,"Oh,uh,yes. I'm okay." I answered back as he raised an eyebrow and looked at me suspiciously with a mix of an apologetic gaze.
"I'm really sorry for what my brother had dragged you in, Hiro? "He looked back at the young boy which I assumed to be named Hiro.
Hiro gazed away for a moment, a hand went back to rub the back of his head before letting out a, "Sorry."
I waved my hand frantically in front of me, smiling at them."It's alright! I wanted to help him anyways! It was my choice of decision!"
"Yeah, but for now, let's get out of here before they wake up." The tall man suggested, referring to the men lying on the ground. Hiro and I both nodded our heads as the 3 of us walked out of the dark part of the day city.
As we walk in the sidewalk and crossing streets after streets, the tall boy which I now known to be Tadashi had been talking quite a few notice and warnings to Hiro, saying how many times they had been through this matter.
Tadashi. Something was poking my memory as if I heard that name before.
Tadashi looked back at me. "Oh, I never get to say this but, thank you for saving my brother back there, Miss."
"Oh, it's (Y/N)."
He stopped when I replied, looking back at me with wide eyes full of excitement. "(Y/N)!? I knew something was familiar on you! It's me, Tadashi."
Tadashi?I repeated his name in my mind,trying to recollect in my memories on here I had heard that name.I'm pretty sure I heard it somewhere (Hint:Watch BH6.Jk.Jk.)I stared at him for what seemed like the longest time as I repeated his name."Tadashi...Hamada?"My eyes widened in realization as I covered my mouth,a smile curling up.It was my childhood friend all along!
"(Y/N)!" Tadashi had a wide smile visible on his face as he glanced at me with excitement on his hazel hues on my (e/c) ones.
"Tadashi!"I exclaimed,dragging my feet towards him and gladly leaning against him as I gave in for a friendly hug from him,wrapping my arms on his shoulders as I felt his own snake around my waist,causing me to let out a small surprised gasp from this as he pulled me closer.A cloud of pink hovered over my cheeks as I looked at Hiro,who seemed to stand there awkwardly as I smiled at him in the same manner.
"I missed you,I'm glad you still remember me."Tadashi said,who didn't seem to mind our closeness as he continued to wrap me around his gentle yet strong pair of arms.
"Of course! I always have another stomach for desert to grab a bite at Aunt Cass! Gosh,it's been so long!"I let out a chuckle,trying to cover up my flustered face with it as he let out his own laugh.
We eventually pulled back,a little disappointed to end the embrace as a light red was till there in my cheeks as I gazed at him and I couldn't help but to smile sheepishly.Hiro looked relieved that our little reunion of showing how much we missed each other was over because of how he rubbed his arm by the other,gawking at us and unsure of what to do.
"Are you two done yet?"He asked,raising an eyebrow and having those hopeful gaze towards us.Tadashi let out a snicker as he went towards his younger brother and ruffled his hair playfully,resulting for Hiro to groan in frustration at this and swatting his hand away.
"Come on,Hiro.You don't remember the kid who always eats up in the Cafe back in those days?"
"Well,that was a long time ago.And yeah..she does seem familiar."Hiro said,looking back at me and raising an eyebrow before they widened,simply having an 'ohhhh' look and said,"Hey!Isn't she your cru-"Before Hiro could say anything,Tadashi's hand went to cover it up as he once again messed up his little brother's hair,a shade of faint red had taken over his cheek but kept a warm smile nevertheless."Glad to know that you remember,(Y/N)! Now,maybe you might want to remember about my warnings and lectures to you about bot fighting ,which is illegal."
Hiro,despite of a hand covering on his mouth had a smug look on his face as if saying 'Don't worry,bro.I won't spoil it for you' and nodded his had slowly.
Wait,was Tadashi blushing just now? Huh,I must be seeing things.
The older Hamada removed his hand away from Hiro's mouth,letting out a sigh of relief."Hey,(Y/N) you should join us for lunch in the Lucky Cat Cafe,the goods and sweets are just as sweet as before."
I smiled and nodded."Sure! It was a long trip from (F/Country) to San Franstokyo.This is perfect!"
And after that,we headed our way towards the Cafe,with Tadashi telling me all sorts of things which happened on the past,literally just catching up with our lives as Hiro joined in,light chukle and agreement was in the air as we exhanged words and discussions.
