Chapter 4

   I ran and ran and ran. What would've you done? This was just freaky. Thank goodness there isn't a fence in our backyard, or else I don't know what would've happened. Heck, did I know anything that has been going on?

   No. I knew nothing. I only had instinct and it was telling me to run. Can't say no, when it's the only thing you can think of doing.  Knowing where to run, though, that's a whole different story.

The first question, is where. Where should I go? At this point I was, who knows where. I ran through my backyard. I knew I needed help. There was only one person who could. My best friend. Kira. 

  Apart from that I knew I I couldn't trust anybody. Isn't that sad? But it is true.

  After I run to the next street I just keep running until I get to Kira's house. I can't say that I remember how I got ther, all I can say is that I did.  In fact that whole five, ten minutes seemed like a blur and, honestly, I don't know how I remember what I do. I just keep those words running through my head. " You are a  Decider.... You are a Decider" running through my head. 

   That is a scary thought, if I think it means what it means. If fate was you, what would you think. Well, as I was down right terrified. I mean, what world has these things? What world are we even in? Is there a whole new side?

    Finally, before I can take any more of these thoughts, Kira opens the  door. She must've seen me through a window because the next moment I was being engulfed into a big hug.

       I hope she believes me, but then again, if I don't, who would? We'll just have to see about that. As In am being led into her house I wonder about what to say, how to say it, and what to do. There is no turning back, and as I'm being told this, telling my best friend the story, of which I stuttered through most of it, she told me one thing and one thing only.

     "I'm coming with you."

     They were music to my ears. I wouldn't have to do anything on my own. Now all I have to do is figure out what the heck am I doing. With Kira by my side, I know that it won't be hard, especially with Kira being so good at bossing me around. She's my best friend, so what am I to say. I pity those people who will stand in our way. With her beside me, Fate could throw me anything, but I will run and fight for my life.
