Saturday. It was one of the best days of the week for any kid. Now it was a dreaded time for the adult me. I lay in bed staring at the ceiling letting myself adjust to everything. The sounds of cars and birds and the low murmurs next door. Flopping onto my side I grabbed my phone and eye the time, eleven O'clock. Grand.

I get up and walk down stairs and into the kitchen as I start making my breakfast. The xbox turned on as I lathered on cream cheese to my bagel. Netflix or Youtube... that was the question.

Taking a bite I flipped through the options only to land on Netflix. It had been a while since I sat and watched some TV shows. What would I watch? Walking dead? Once upon a Time? Orange is the new Black?

After a while of watching the shows I got dressed in my running clothes. It was the only thing I always had planned on Saturdays and it was starting to help. I had been pretty over weight for a while. Not huge, but not the size that would make me healthy.

Closing up behind me I add my keys to my belt and start out with a small jog. L.A. had people everywhere jogging, riding bikes and walking dogs. It was nice to see everyone active. Even if I was a little self cautious of myself.

Watching another dog pass I sigh. Maybe I need a dog. Something on the smaller size but one that's active. A puppy.

My thoughts raced with possibilities. Not a pug. Not a lab... hmmm... what kind of dog... i turned the corner to go back into my apartment complex.

Walking up to my door I paused seeing someone ahead of me. Carrying a large box full of mail. He seemed to be struggling with it a little. Pausing I realized the direction he was heading. It was my neighbor!

I smile as I walk up behind him,he was pretty muscular and had black hair that seemed rather unkept at the moment. I stop hearing a small crunch bellow my foot. I pause and look down at a letter with a whole bunch of drawings all over it. I smile softly. I wonder what he does.

Walking up behind him, just as he got through his door. "Hey! Wait up! You dropped this!" I shout as I make it to the steps. I pause and look up the letter in my hand as I freeze.

Oh hell.
