Chapter 3: Getting to know your enemy

You were bored so you wanted to go to mystery shack.
"Mom Mom Mom Mom Mom mom-"
"Yes you can go" your mom huffed.
"How'd you know I was gonna ask?" You asked.
"You've asked me the same question for the past 3 hours." She said.
"Oh. Heh heh well thanks" You waved and ran out the door. You mom was just sitting at the table pinching the bridge of her nose.

You were walking through the woods because you didn't want to walk on the path
"To boring" You thought.
(But you did stay close to the path just in case) You kicked a rock then it froze in place. You stared at it and crouched down. You poked it.
"What the what?" You said.
"Hello." It echoed. You turned around to see a triangle with one eye. He had a black cane and small black top hat.
"AAAAHHHH EVIL TALKING DORITO!!!! You yelled. Then he got mad and turned red.
"I AM NOT A DORITO! I AM A DREAM DEMON!" He yelled. You noticed all around you that everything was frozen in place.
"Bet you're wondering why everything is frozen." The thing said.
"Uh yeah. How'd you guess."you asked sarcastically. He eyed you.
"Well I'm not gonna tell you."
"Okay fine. It doesn't look that cool anyway."you said.
"EXCUSE YOU!? THIS IS SUPER COOL! WE'RE IN AN ALTERNATE REALITY!" He yelled defensively.
"Oh. Well thanks for telling me."you said smirking. Then he facepalmed.
"Man... You're pretty clever. Just like that annoying pinetree." He said.
"A pinetree is clever? You're stupid."you said.
"NO! Not an actual pinetree-" you cut him off.
"Oooohh. Do you mean Dipper?" You asked.
"Yes." He said clearly irritated.
"Why is everyone irritated with me?" You thought to yourself.
"Okay... so what do want..." you ask awkwardly.
"I was actually gonna ask you if you wanted to make a deal." He said.
"No no no..." you started to back away.
"WAIT! Just hear me out!" He asked.
