"Sam come on we're going to be late!" Still groggy from a late night of studying for mid terms, Sam managed to pull himself out of bed, get dressed, and answer Jess with a kiss on the cheek.

Sam and Jess were one of those couples that you could just see how much they loved eachother without them saying a word. Even when they were just wasting time... they weren't wasting time. It was as if no time they spent together could ever be wasted.

"Do you know what today is?" She said with a dreamy look in her eye.

"Umm Tuesday?" Sam replied, chuckling.

"It's our 2 month anniversary you idiot," Jess said, playfully shoving him, "how could you forget?!" with a hint of mocking sarcasm in her voice. Jess liked to make fun of girls who made big deals about things like anniversaries. She always said 'you should love me the same on any given day, today shouldn't be any different.'

"Of course," Sam replied. I never did listen to her though, he thought as he pulled a bouquet of flowers out from behind his back. Giving her a lovey dovey goofy look. Jess just laughed.

"Shut up you idiot," she said as she pulled him in for a kiss. Just a moment before their lips met, everything went black.
