Hyung come on, give it back to me. No can do, kiddo. Catch it from me if you want. But you're so tall! Said the younger. Hey you're quite as tall yourself, now catch it! The younger chased the elder for the ball. Each time, he failed miserably.

And he scores! Another point for the awesome basketball player, the taller one praised himself. Cheaterbug, the younger lad muttered under his breath. You just need more practice, kook. The older encouraged. Despite the fact that the older lad looks intimidating, he has a nice heart but it soon took its twist....

His girlfriend was brutally murdered. Police found her body on the seashore. Her face full of cuts, a knife deeply stabbed on her heart and don't even get me started how her lower body parts were disfigured. She was missing her right arm and leg. Which was soon brought to shore after police managed to find it floating on the sea.

Nobody knew who was the murderer but to the older lad, he had someone in mind. Plus nobody messes with him. He is the strongest alpha in campus. He planned to get revenge but not on the person he claimed it was. Instead, on his girlfriend.

And he did.

His was even worse. It was dreadful. He penetrated the victim many times. Raped her, treated her like a sex toy. She was literally a sex slave. Next, he began to torture her. First sexually then physically. Lastly, he sent a threatening video to the victim's boyfriend to reel him in when actually it was all a setback.

He wanted the police to see that the victim's boyfriend was the murderer. To his amazement, it worked. The victim's boyfriend rushed to the scene where his girlfriend was murdered.

The taller lad has already called the police moments before so that the police would caught the person red handed. With blood flowing down his hands, some dusted on his face.. The police took him into custody because it seemed like he killed the victim out of regret.

After getting to know from his alibi that the person he thought wasn't the killer, the taller lad panicked yet he knows by threatening the younger is the only way he can get himself out. After all, the elder lad did the younger a huge favor when he willingly allowed him to join the greatest alpha in school. The younger mentioned that he owes his life to him.

So yes.

The elder took their words seriously.

It's either he looses his life or the one he loves.

Cliche? Yes. But that's the reality of it.

It's one life for another.

"What kind of hyung is he? He's horrible. Sorry no offense"

"It's okay, Tae. I feel so helpless. I'm a police officer yet I'm doing nothing but feeling afraid of his threat"

"You're just afraid of losing me" Taehyung gave his boyfriend a little squeeze on his shoulder. "Yes... Plus, I know what he is capable of"

"After hearing your story, yes. He's sick in the mind man!"

"So what do we do now..."

"We play along with his game. What does he want you to do again?"

"To change his identity and let him escape to another country from which we won't have any ties with each other anymore" Jungkook sighed.

"As much as you hate him, you love him too don't you? He was the one who saved you from all the bullying"

"Yes, Tae. That's why I felt indebted" another sigh escaped.

"Anyway, I'm sorry baby. For last night. Didn't mean to quarrel with you. I was scared to admit the truth" Taehyung moved closer to this boyfriend, swinging an arm over his shoulder "It's alright. At least now I know the clear picture"

So the two decided to go with the flow. As the saying goes 'Keep your friends close but your enemies closer', Taehyung is now fully aware that his life is on the line yet he can't just sit around doing nothing when he clearly knows who the murderer is. His next step has to be very well executed with full caution. One mistake, it all goes down.

"I'm all set. You ready, baby?" Jungkook zipped his backpack, making sure everything was in. "Always ready" answered the older. Jungkook was still having second thoughts on reeling Taehyung in this mess so he questioned once more before leaving the house.

"Hey" Jungkook prevented Taehyung from leaving "You sure about this?" All the older lad did was nod, making his way to the doorstep. Once again, the younger one stopped him. "Super duper uber sure?"

Taehyung gave him the death stare which shushed him from asking any further. The younger groaned in annoyance seeing how determined his boyfriend is to put an end to the mystery even though his life is on the line.

In Jungkook's mind, he was afraid of losing Taehyung but he jolly well knows that once Tae has made up his mind, nothing and no one can change it.

"Well that's my cue"

They went their separate ways. Jungkook took a cab while Tae trailed behind driving his SUV. He made sure there's at least a 50-100m gap between the cab and his car to avoid less suspicion.

The cab was put to a stop at an alley. A dark alley with refugees around giving you the blank stare. They basically represent the zombies in the walking dead. Taehyung parked at a corner, making sure to camouflage with the darkness. Thank goodness his SUV is black in colour.

Jungkook was five minutes early so he waited at the exact spot where his hyung wanted to meet. It's a dead end. Various thoughts was running through Jungkook's mind. Not that he was frightened.

He is a police with high combat skills so he shouldn't encounter any problem on fighting. As his thoughts run wild, his mind started to wander and his eyes darted around, a familiar voice broke it.

"So did you bring what you were supposed to?" Asked the taller lad with a deadpan expression on his face. "Yes hyung! It's all here" Jungkook handed the suitcase with all the necessary items inside. Passport, identity card, even a wig.

"Good. I knew you wouldn't disappoint" he gave Jungkook a bro hug. "Surrender now" another voice intervene from a distance.

"Surrender now or else"

"Or else what?" the tall lad look out his gun from his back pocket. "So much for trusting you" he looked over at Jungkook, giving him a look of despise.

"Hyung please. You don't have to make this much worse" Jungkook tried to negotiate. Trying his best to stall while waiting for the cops to come. "I thought I said to come alone!" He shouted, triggering the gun while pointing it towards Taehyung.

He was so close to shooting when Jungkook pounced on him, letting the gun fly out of his grip. Taehyung quickly made an attempt to take the gun but was harshly stepped on. His five fingers cringing in pain. The tall lad was a good fighter, as competitive as Jungkook.

He tackled Jungkook so hard to the ground and ran over to take the gun. Hearing the siren of police cars fast approaching, these were his last words "I already warned you. It's one life for another" with that said, he pulled the trigger on his target.

Once again, he managed to escape.

"Noooooooo" the one who wasn't shot screamed in agony.

The cops finally arrived, dashing to the two. "We have an emergency. Call 911 pronto!"
