Chapter 1 : My Dream, Well, Nightmare

I was running, running through the forest, I was running away from someone, something.

It was in the middle of the night, and almost pitch black. I ran faster and faster, pumping my legs, pushing myself, feeling the adrenaline course through me.

I saw a tree had fallen on my path, so i leant over my left side with my left gloved hand on the ground, and left leg out with my right leg slightly bent and skidded under the tree.

I quickly recomposed myself and ran faster and faster, I was almost out of the forest, I could see the city lights peeking through the branches of the autumn coloured trees, I could hear the soft mummer of the city's never ending noise.

I ran faster and faster, and before I knew it, I was out!

I now had to get to safety, I was well away from the monsters that haunted me.

Then all of a sudden all I could see was darkness, pitch black deep darkness, then I saw an eye, it was cut through the middle, one side of the eye pitch black, and the other forest green, the eye was very familiar, like family, but I knew better then that, I've seen his true colours.

"You think that you can just run away?" The familiar voice booms

"Why not! It's worked all this time, after all these years, why wouldn't it work now?!" I shouted back, full of anger and hatred.

He chuckled "so stubborn, when will you realise that I am your future, that no matter what, it will happen, you can't run away from me, I am you, you can't run away from yourself, if anything you're just helping me by running towards the right direction!" He said surprising me.

"Why are you telling me this! After all you stole from me, and all you've done to me, why help me?!" I said pointing out the fact that he just told me that I'm helping him, so now I know what he wants.

"Because, like I said, I am you, and you are me, we cannot be separated, and it's also little warning, big things are about to happen, and i just hope that it doesn't ruin our future"

"Wait, you still care about me! If not why would you be worried about me?!"

"No I don't, don't go there-"

"You still care, that's why you warn me all the time, and you never hurt me!"

"Enough! I still fucking do care, okay?! But that's something that i can't change, and I hate myself for it, but I know, deep down, you need and care for me too, so you are not one to talk!"

I glared at the eye, but somehow, I still do care, I know nothing about him, but I care and love him, and I hate myself for it!

A long moment passed before he spoke and broke the silence.

"You are going now, we will have to part ways, bye, Princess" he often said my nickname so coldly and full of hatred that it now sounds like that's how it's meant to be.

"Bye, Poison" I whispered his nickname harshly as well.

And then, pitch black was all I saw again...

I quickly opened my eyes again, gasping for oxygen, then breathing heavily.

I sighed, it was all just a dream, well nightmare.

But I'm not so scared or surprised, you see, the same nightmare of me running and running through the forest had happened to me for ever since I could remember.
