Them

Chapter 1

She sat in her class slowly drifting off as the videos droned on about lab safety videos. Finally, when the hands of sleep gripped her tight she entered their world. a world full of darkness where you were either a writer, artist, dreamer, or them. Writers, artists, and dreamers were created to document, talk to them, and to inform the real. They are ruled by them essentially there are two kinds of them the Faire and the Demoni. The faire are considered the kinder of the two who simply wish to learn, listen, care, and protect the ill fated few. The demoni their dark relatives wish to dominate, control, and to escape their ethreal prison to enter the real in their own bodies. Demoni and Faire create an ethreal connection with writers, artists, and dreamers, whether it is a forced connection or one made will. Once the connection is made said person is attached to its handler. The Faire and Demoni make up the group referred to as them. There are many clans within the Faire and Demoni all ranked in a hierarchy of strength and social status. Waking up in the ethereal world is excruciating because switching into a new body is complicated because one has to adjust to their new ethereal body. It would seem easy to just wake up but, the ethereal body is very different from the actual body. It's entire structure is different from the body in the real one may be tall and muscle bound while in the ethereal one may be short and thin. As one feels them falling into nothingness, said person must open their eyes to seal their bond into the ethereal or else their connection to the real will be severed and one would become stuck into the ethereal limbo not fully going on but never being able to fully enter.
