Lucas walked out of the room. He looked like he was worried. I was in the room, and the door was partly closed. I stared more intensely into Lucas and in his mind I heard him say Aceda's in there with a bunch of weird guys. I really hope that she's okay. Lucas was worried for me? I was honored. One guy came near the door and slammed it shut. Lucas walked up to it and pressed his ear on the door. There were some weird sounds of people taking out some heavy metal objects. I started to get curious. Lucas tried to peak, but he couldn't. Out of curiosity (or worry) Lucas broke the door down. Then he saw some guy from the back pull out a gun. When they lifted my red hair to find the spot which had the bullet, the guy with the gun raised his hand, preparing to fire.
Lucsd ran straight for that guy. As he was about to fire, he kicked him in the stomach. He cringed and dropped the gun. "Wha- how did you know?" he said as Lucas pushed him against the wall and started thrashing him. He removed his goggles and looked into his eyes. "Oh," he said, "Now I see why."
Lucas's black eyes had turned pink. Who cares if Lucas had black eyes that turn pink? I don't anyway. Since the guy was about to die anyway, I guess it was okay for Lucas to let him know.
"Have you heard of TIFSET?" Lucas asked him.
His eyes widened. "Why yes! I used to learn there."
"Awesome. So my name's Lucas and I'm top student there."
"What the-"
"I may not look like it, but I am a heterochromic. I was ranked number one out of the thousands who had been admitted in the Academy that year."
"How old were you when you-"
"Fourteen," and then Lucas made a hand sign of a gun and pointed it at the weirdo's chest. With his other hand he took out another real gun and pointed it at the others who were standing there horrified. Lucas got up and gestured for the weirdo to stand up and follow him. "Hand me the girl," Lucas said in a low, deadly voice. "Take your girlfriend! We couldn't have done anything anyway, but please don't shoot us." Lucas walked up to me, and tossed me over to one of his shoulders. He walked away, towards the doors.
And just before leaving he said, "By the way, she's not my girlfriend."
Lucas and the weirdo ran out out the place. The ran for what seemed like forever. I was amazed at how he didn't get tired while carrying me and running. I was also amazed at how long he could keep his eyes pink. I could keep mine red for a few minutes at max.
Lucas stopped running when he came near a lake. He stopped and put me down. He pointed at me and said, "Do something. You're a heterochromic too, right?" The weirdo sighed. He squeezed his eyes shut, and when he opened them, they were green. He came close to me, and made a hand sign like a gun with one finger. He pointed at me and said, "Maple." A stream of extra tiny autumn leaves rushed from his finger towards my wound. They settled on top of the wound, and it started healing. "So you can do leaf stuff?" Lucas asked him.
"It's called Pisci. And you call yourself top student?"
"Well, yeah."
"Wow. So what can you do?"
"See for yourself." Lucas made a gun hand sign with one finger and said, "Static." Jets of lightning started coming out of the tip of his finger. His body crackled with electricity. The guy took a step back, as if afraid. Lucas raised his eyebrows. For once, he was looking hot on the spot.
"Lightning based move?"
"Yep. Cool huh? It's actually really rare."
"Yeah. Almost everyone one whom I know isn't a Lightning specialist."
