A Basketball Love { August Alsina}

Chapter 16

It's been weeks since I talked to August in person. Since the fight I been living with My sister and her daughter. It's been a fun stay aside from going to chuck e cheese. it's a fun place, but the smell of feet and pizza fills the room and the whole tunnel thing smells like piss and feet.

I sat down at the table with Rain, Raven and my sister. "So how r u and August doing?" Raven asked.

"Nothing." I said back

"What u mean nothing?"

"We're doing nothing. We're not together, or even living in the same house. It's a small getaway from all the drama; Not with just him, but the fans and shit. It's to much for me right now."

Rain sighed. "Listen u need to get ur man before someone else does. All these fine ass girls that's in Hollywood and shit. Famous and not famous."

"she has a point. Sanaa, u play basketball. Basketball-no wait, just sports r for men. ur pretty and smart and all that. U chasing August is not helping at all. Let him chase u."

I smiled when she said that and thought "ya'll remember Daniel?''

"Who the fuck-ooo. Daniel."

Raven looked so confused. " Light skin, light brown eyes, tall, cute as a button Daniel?"

"yep." I said popping out the 'P'.

"Oh. I thought his name was Trey." We all laughed. Then once it stopped we all looked at each other and laughed again.

"Naw, but Trey was darkskin, green eyes, more abs than Daniel and Very, and I mean VERY smart." 

"OOOOO; Makes more since." Just then my niece, Kimya ran over with a small hand full of tickets.

"Awww, where did you get all of those from?" My sister, Simone asked.

She pointed at the game, wack a mole. i think that's what's it's called. "thats game with the bat." she said in her 6 year old voice. 

Just for a quick background story Simone had Kimya at 19. Kimya's father is in jail, for selling or some shit.  She visited him a few times, but Simone doesn't like her to. If it was my child i wouldn't really want her to visit cuz 1) she's a girl ,but 2) it is her dad and i would never take her away from her dad. So I would do it, but like every couple times a month.

"Kimya, come on i'll take u to the ski balls so u can get more tickets." I said

"Okay." If u hear her little voice, u would die on ur hands and knees cuz it's to cute.

we ran over there with me holding her hand to ski balls.

"Ard Mya, imma put u up there so u can throw the balls in the hole. u see that big hole?" I pointed to the hole in the center with the number 1,000 on it.

" Yea I see it!" she smiled

"Good. U gonna have to put the ball in it if u want ore tickets." She nodded her head, I gave her a ball and put the tockets. She ran up there and was putting every ball I gave her in the 1,000 hole.

We finished the game with 100 tickets. "Kimya now we have to cash our tickets." we walked to a opened ticket eater and put our tickets in."Mya."

"Yea."

"After we cash our tickets, let's act like u cut ur finger."

"Noooo won't that hurt?" she said in a baby voice.

"No it will b just ketchup on ur finger."

" but, won't that make mommy sad?" Damn she just so nice.

" no she already knows that it was a joke and laugh." she smiled.

"Fine I will do it then."

"Good."

I mixed ketchup and red kool-aid to make it more real. I put water under my eyes and hers so it can look like we r crying. I picked up Kimya, and carried her to the table. "Simone!" she turned around and her smile turned to a frown real quick. Now it's making me wish that I didn't do it, but it was to funny to not to.

"Wat happened!?!?!?"

"we was putting the tickets in and- and she sliced her finger!"

"O MY GOD!!!" She started to cry and Kimya started the but in.

"Don't cry it was a joke." Simone went from Happy to sad now mad. Her eyes turned red of hatered right now.

'TIME TO GO NOW" she yelled

"okay listen it was my idea and yes it was wrong. I know that. But it wasnt her idea so let her cash in her tickets first."

She walked out with Rain and Raven leaving me and Mya to cash our tickets.

"Wat do u want Mya?"

"Cotton candy."

"and which color would u like." she pointed to the pink one.

"The pink one." Her shyness is to cute.

At the end of the day I got cussed out for doing which was funny af cuz they thought I was listening. SMDH
