At 4pm I changed into my dance clothes and waited patiently for the sound of my mums utes tyres crunching on the gravel up the driveway. Dance was starting soon and I was getting very grouchy at the fact mum wasn't home yet but then I heard the crunching. I stood and opened the door to see Susan my dads girlfriend coming up the drive in her flashy pink car. Oh god, SHE was here.
She stopped the car and slid out, her six inch heels reflecting the setting suns light.
"Hello, Emma" She said
"Hi.." I replied under my breath.
I walked round to the others side and and squeezed into the tiny flash car.
The whole journey was silent. I could hear her wheezy breathing. Ugh she made me sick. *wheeze* *wheeze*.
She pulled in, in front of the studio, I got out and without a word, walked into the building.
"Emma, finally!" Amanda greeted me from reception.
"Sorry I'm late, I'll go change and be out in a minute."
After changing I stop- I can't breathe; everywhere seems dark and tears are rolling down my cold, pink cheeks.
I silently scream. My thoughts tick along. Very, very quickly I feel faint.
Everything bad is running through my head: my parents divorce, the pressure on me, the bullying and all the other little things.
Suddenly all I want to do is cry. But I'm stopped. Amanda is calling me.
I brush away my tears of depression, wipe my face and head into the studio.
