;Jackie let me say this clearly, vampires are make believe they aren't real.My sister Andrea said like i didn't know that already it was 10:30 when Andrea got pissed off when i didn't wash the dishes. I knew they weren't real but deep down i wanted them to be real. Andrea is seven years older than me which means she's twenty-three, she was the prettiest of the sisters which were five, she had straight white teeth, dark brown hair and brown eyes, brown skin but she wasn't exactly skinny and me sixteen year old me, sun kissed hair, not exactly light or brown eyes, tan skin, tall, skinny, chubby cheeks and not so straight teeth. I knew we didn't look a like, like my other sisters Selena, Rose, and Maria.I know but-"MOM! See what you teach her? You make her believe that vampires are real and just suddenly appear out of nowhere and make her one of them.Andrea say's clearly enjoying seeing me upset. That's not true, i never said i believe in them i just was telling you about what i read in a book.Andrea gives me a satisfied look, like she just won a billion dollars.Andrea stop picking on your sister and go study for your quiz tomorrow. Mom said as Andrea gave her an angry look but left the living room. Mom looked very tired today and looked like she was going to faint. Jackie get my inhaler it's in the kitchen bottom left cabinet. I hurried to get it, some people said that i looked like her because of our faces, but i didn't see anything familiar to my face. I got it and gave it to her then she sprayed it into her mouth. When she was done she put it on the table in front of her then patted the seat right next to her, i sat when she said Jackie did you know that the police found a dead guy who's blood was drained from his body? I shook my head as i wondered where she was getting at. She leaned closer, her body spray smelled like strawberry's, and whispered in my ear "Vampires might be real."Then smiled. Her eyes betraying the seriousness and looked in pain. I just smiled trying not to push her kindness toward me. I knew she wanted to help even after dad died five months ago because of a car accident it turns out a drunk guy was driving with his girlfriend and they started getting rated-R in the car when suddenly the light turned red when they weren't looking. The guy and his girlfriend are facing charges. Mom nodded her head" You should get some sleep you have school tomorrow.I head off to my room where my sister Maria is already sleeping, me and Maria take turns getting the bed, guess she took the bed. I take out the blankets from the closet and lay them on the floor next to the bed. I did something that i would never have done at night, I prayed. I got on my knees in front of the Virgin Mary picture that's at the right of the bedroom window and said my prayers then i started to cry. "Please just for tonight, let me have a dream filled with vampires, a place where i can belong to, please. Amen.I lay down, still crying thinking my wish will never come true when i fell fast asleep.
