Nanoha's PV
I wake up and stretch , when Fate-nee comes in and kisses my forehead "good morning Nanoha" her voice as calm as ever. I am 9 years old while Fate-nee is 18, Fate-nee is more like my mother or older sister even though we aren't related my mom and dad died as well as my older brother and sister in a fire
FLASHBACK
"Mommy daddy!" Nanoha screams while hugging her knees in a corner "BIG BROTHER BIG SISTER!" continuing to cry she hears foot steps "Nanoha!*cough cough* Nanoha where are you!? *cough cough*" Fate spots Nanoha and picks her up "it's OK Nanoha Fate is here *hack cough hack cough*" burying Nanoha's face into her cloths so that Nanoha could breath at least a bit of filtered air Fate runs out with Nanoha in her arms, giving her to the fire fighters she rushes back in before they could stop her. The fire fighters give Nanoha a oxygen mask and tell her to breath normally, Fate back in the house looking for any surviving member, found a crushed Shirou with Momoko, Fate found Kyouya and Miyuki carried them out and collapsed from to much smoke in take. They later found out they had both died a minute before Fate found them
FLASH BACK OVER
but I have Fate-nee though so I'm not completely alone, and she already promised me she won't die without a fight so I'm happy. She took me in and took care of me as well as sent me to school and made sure I was happy. I got dressed and Fate-nee told me she wanted to brush my hair, I sat down and let her brush my hair as well as tie it up in my usual pig tails. seeing we were late I hurried to get to school... Running out I ran in the middle of the street waiting for Fate to catch up when a car came at me, Fate-nee had a terrified face and ran towards me I looked and found a car near me she jumped and hugged me in the air the car got directly at her back and I remember her whispering "it's OK i'm here and I promise I will always protect you..." rolling to a stop I saw a red liquid....blood I turned my head and found weak breathing and a blood trailing from Fate-nee's mouth panicking I hug her close hoping it would help I look up and saw a gentle smile on Fate-nee "N-Nanoha...are you...OK?" she asked weakly "F-F-Fate-nee! please don't die!" I tightened my hold on Fate-nee and got another smile in return "Nanoha...I promised I wouldn't die without a fight..." a siren could be heard and they rushed Fate-nee onto one of those beds and took me with them inside the ambulance as soon as we got there she was rushed into the emergency room and I was asked to sit on a cushioned bench a nurse came out with Fate-nee's jacket "here" she hands me the jacket and I hug it putting it over my shoulders.
3 HOURS LATER
A doctor comes out "she's just fine other then some internal bleeding she didn't have much to battle you are allowed to see her but be quiet since she's sleeping" I nod and go in instantly I run over to her and grab her hand. When the doctor left I crawled in her bed, and I buried my face in her chest and silently cried I was stopped when my hug was returned and a hand rubbing my head my crying was soon reduced to sniffles "Fate-nee, please don't leave me" Fate gives me a nod then asks "Nanoha please don't worry, I said it once and I'll say it again I won't leave you without a fight".
