BROOKLYN'S POV
The thunder roared outside as I heard the rain wash against the window. Normally, a storm was calming but today it made me feel uneasy. I sat on my bed with my blinds half rolled up so I could see the storm as I studied for my history exam. I hate all learning subjects, even though I'm a grade A student. Usually when I get home, I love getting into comfortable clothes , throwing my hair up into a loose bun and climbing in bed under warm blankets. Today it seemed to feel like I was the vulnerable girl in a horror movie and the phone was about to ring.
My phone suddenly started buzzing at the vibrate of a ring. As I checked the caller ID, shivers ran down my spine as I read in big bold letters , UNKNOWN

Really short chapter I know but I needed some kind of suspense but from now on I will post really long chapters because I'm starting to really enjoy writing this book and I've got the biggest surprise for the next chapter so make sure to add this to your library 💕
