Mommy dear why are you on the floor?
And daddy's worried, he's crying some more
He likes to mutter things about drugs
Mother have you done something daddy can't love?Daddy sir, you're getting quite bad
Those pills you take are making you sad
I know you say mommy is hurting herself
But please daddy leave your drinks on the shelfNow mommy please stop fighting with dad
The constant attacking makes me go mad
And you both hurt me for trying to stop it
Oh please just stop I don't want to be hit
Okay I'll sit here, be the good little daughter
Won't say a word about the practical home slaughter
We're a perfect family, everyone out there can see
I put on a smile, and they both love meOh mommy, oh daddy,
You've taught me so well
I'll drink all this alcohol
Then I'll pop up some pillsYou'd both be so proud, I know that you would
If you hadn't both overdosed just like I should
But I'll do my time and have my own kid
So they can understand how our family lives
