Firstly, I am really sorry because I told you that I would shift the book "Mafia King's Innocent Biwi" to Kindle on 12th April, but I couldn't. The reason is that the publishers informed me that even the Kindle edition would be handled by them as part of the package, and I was happy about that.
However, they later said that the number of pages is a concerning factor and it cannot be published as a single book. I was okay with splitting it into two volumes, but even that was difficult for them.
After that, I tried reaching out to other publishers, but the amount they are charging is something I cannot invest right now, as I am not sure about the revenue and the chances of loss are very high. Also, due to the number of pages, the price might exceed ₹1000, and I don't think many people would be willing to pay that much. So at this moment, I cannot guarantee a paperback version. Although I am still trying to convince and negotiate with publishers, if you have any suggestions, please share them with me.
As for the bonus chapters of the paperback version, I will upload them on Stack only if the paperback does not happen.
Also, yes, I will shift MKIB to paid platforms again. And please do not try to emotionally blackmail me in any way, because I will not listen. There are 50k+ reads per chapter, but not even 5k votes. Still, I made the book free twice. Now please don't expect that again. If you want to read it, read it on paid platforms.
Another issue is the constant comparison. Even after repeatedly requesting not to compare, some people still don't understand. Akshavi once called Ashvik "Pranaath," and the entire comment section was filled with just that one name. If that word or character belongs to someone, then please go get the copyright and show it to me, I will stop using such Hindi words. Ruhanika is constantly compared to another character (which I won't name, as I don't want to spread negativity). Even in Whispers of Romance (which I wrote in 2023), just because another book is more famous, people compare Vaidehi to someone else. In Whispers of Devotion, I portrayed Viyana similar to her mother Vaidehi, yet even there, people compare her to that same character from another book.
I'm sorry, but I won't tolerate this anymore. Then there are underage kids writing vulgar content in the name of smut, who can't come up with anything original, copy my format, and then block me. Blocking me only shows your lack of confidence and what you are trying to do just to gain a few followers.
Even Instagram promotes such disgusting accounts and content more, God knows what will happen in the future.
I'm sorry to say this, but some readers on Wattpad are the reason authors are leaving the platform. And it's true, people don't value free content. They can't write even four lines themselves, yet they are the first to compare. If you ask them not to, they are ready to argue.
I will continue updating my ongoing books, "Mafia King's Eternal Devotion" and "Love Amidst Stolen Glances," but the rest will be shifted. So I suggest you read them while they are ongoing.
And to my 7.3K followers, thank you so much for all your love and support. I am truly grateful.
