I'm Fine.

We take a seat by their table me sitting infront of steph but just beside Derek. I was surprised how I wasn't stuttering while answering every question they asked me.

Steph sat right beside Luke. I guess you can say they're an official thing but its more of an open type of relationship. They can makeout with whoever they want but they go out on dates. It's really messed up to be honest. I tried to talk her out of it but she wanted the same thing as him so I guess it makes sense. Despite all that they're adorable together.

Every few minutes I would look up from my phone and just see Steph and Luke kissing. It was sweet at first but now it's just like, 'c'mon get a room'.

I felt my phone vibrate so I unlock it to see what the notification I got was, I go onto facebook messenger and notice I've got a new message. It's from Derek. A smile slowly appears on my face when I see a message saying,

*They should get a room shouldn't they.*

My smile grows just a bit more when my phone vibrates again while I see another message come in.

*Oh and Hi.*

I look up and smile at him. He passes a wink and I just pull one of my silent laughs obviously trying to not interupt some people.

The day passed very quickly actually. We went to swim at a secret beach but I felt really uncomfortable undressing and swiming infront of all the guys; Luke, Andrew, Mat, Zak and mostly Derek. So I just stayed on the land watching them.

This precious time lead me to just thinking about my life unwillingly. I remembered the first time I had seen Derek. His school was opposite mine but just a fence divided it. We were having Lunch and a friend of mine called out to a group of people from the other school and I recognised a few people I knew so I went with her. Derek was there but didn't speak. After we left my friend explained to me how he's 'the most desired' from their school I guess. I laugh thinking about it actually.

Derek didn't seem to be swiming so he stayed up with me. But not with me. If that makes sense. A few minutes later I see a blonde girl walking down the path to this beach. Derek went to greet her and I knew they were together once I saw his tounge down her throat.

I won't say I was annoyed in any way, it was just pretty uncomfortable for me on my own there so I yelled a loud bye to Steph and Luke and I started making my way back.

Derek and this girl vanished thankfully. Or so I thought. While I was walking up I heard the flapping of flip flops and turn round to see what was all the noise.

"You're not leaving are you?" Derek yells.

"Yes I have to catch the bus home but nice meeting you." I say back ready to turn on my heels.

"So I don't get a hug." He asks.

"I guess." I say letting out half a giggle to ease on the awkwardness he just created.

"Bye." I say whilst throwing my hand in the air to wave by.

"Bye Tori." I can hear him say.

A smile slowly grew on my face. Why?
