The Lost Princess

Chapter 1

"Lily get you butt down here right now. You need to do your chores", my aunt called to me. Well if you could call her my aunt. She more is my guardian since she isn't related to my family in any way but me and my brother call her our aunt.

I head downstairs towards the kitchen where I know she will be. She never really leaves the kitchen unless she has to sleep or bathe. I have asked her why she never leaves the kitchen but every time she just brushes me off.

Once I enter the kitchen I see she is over the stove cooking lunch. The smell is intoxicating, so my guesses is that it is stew with fresh meat my brother hunted this morning. My brother could of simply dropped into the supermarket and brought meat but he finds fresh to better.

"What are my chores for today." I ask my aunt since everyday I have different chores to complete.

"Today you must feed the horses and dogs. Then clean your room and bathroom. After that you can go ride Bolt.", my Aunt smiles at me. I go straight for the bathroom first. In the bathroom all I have to do is mop, clean the toilet, tidy up around the sink and scrub the shower.

I finish the bathroom in record time and head for the dogs and horses. My room is always clean so I don't have to do that job since it is already complete.

I reach the dogs first and get their food out. As soon as I have a spoonful of the food in the cup they all come running towards me. We have 4 dogs in total my aunt has 1, my brother has 2 (for hunting) and I have 1. Mine is the only husky and female dog we have. My brother wanted the husky but the husky started to follow me around and the rest is history. I call her Winter.

Once the dogs have had there feed I head over towards the horses. I count 2 but I can't see Bolt. He must be hiding. I feed the 2 horse then head out to find bolt. I can hear Winter behind me so I tell her to go find Bolt.

I always felt a power over animals but my aunt just calls me crazy. No one has ever been able to control animals. Yes some people can control humans but animals. No one knows why we have never been able to control animals. Anyway I still haven't got my power even though everyone I know has and that isn't many people.

Winter comes running around the bend with Bolt behind her. I give him some carrots to crunch on before I pull him over to the fence. I have ridden without a saddle. My brother thinks it is strange but I feel more comfortable then in a saddle and Bolt hates saddles.

As soon as I have mounted him, he is of running with Winter in his trail. We head down to the river were we can all rest. I also wish to talk with my brother. Who has been avoiding me recently.

Once we make it down to the river I see Charlie playing with his powers. He is levitating the water and make it dance in the air.

"Oi, you." I call out to my brother. He jumped in the air from the sudden noise. I laugh to myself because let's be honest that was funny.

He scowls at me,"What are you doing here. You know how aunt doesn't like you going outside the property. It is dangerous."

"What is life if we don't intended to live a little." I quote of some book I read. "Plus I came to ask why phage you been avoiding me lately."

"Well it is none of your damn business Lily. What I do and who I ignore is my business so keep your nose out of it. Got it."

"Yeah I got it, but come on we got to get back p. Aunt is cooking food for us with your fresh meat." I reply sweetly. This just pisses him off more which adds to my entertainment.

We make our way through the fields and back to out house. We live on a farm so not many people come by, actually I can't remember the last time I saw someone other then my aunt or my brother.

When we come through the door and see our aunt looking panicked. "What's wrong aunt." Says my brother who also seem to be getting panicked.

My aunt takes a deep breath before saying. "They are coming the found you but they don't know about her you must leave. Quick pack and leave know." My ushers us to our rooms to pack.

I don't know what is happening but I pack what I need and something's that are important to me. Once I am done I meet my brother at the bottom of the stairs. We see our aunt using her abilities to pack us some food.

"You must take the horse it will be harder to track then the car. Here's the food. You guys must leave now. They are nearing the house." My aunt stresses.

Before I can respond I am pushed out the door by my brother. He pull me to the horse Winter still trailing behind us.

"You must leave her behind Lily. Winter can not come with us you must know this." He says sternly.

"Well to bad because she is coming with us." Winter growls at him. He sighs then goes to fetch his horse. Bolt was already waiting near the fence for us. I quickly get on and put Winter in the bag and put her in front of me. Bolt doesn't seem to mind the extra weight.

He moves over to where my brother has know mounted his horse. "Come one Lily we must leave now." With that we take off. We make it to the river when I hear the scream of my aunt. I look over at my brother to see that his face show no emotions for he just heard.

I then feel something weird. I look down at my chest to see my necklace glowing. I try to tell my brother but he can't hear me. I look down at my necklace again to see that the crystals changed from red to a light blue. I just let it go.

We make it past our town we live near when we here them. Guns and they are getting closer to us.

So how do you guys like it so far. I really don't have much to say but I will read suggestion.
