"Run Amber. Don't stop running, even if you hear a scream." Krysta said calmly. I ran and ran until my legs started to burn; my feet begged to stop, but my brain told me 'You stop, you'll get captured by the...' Then I heard Krysta scream; inturrupting my thougts.

I woke up gasping for air. I looked around the orphanage room, everyone was sleeping. 'Why did Krysta have to die like that?' I thought to myself 'If only I knew not to run away...then she would still be alive.' I tried to fall back asleep only to find out I couldn't because of the guilt I felt for letting her kill herself in the woods. I silently got up from my bed and crept, outside to the back of the orphanage where the woods are, those woods heard her scream as she jabbed a dull knife through her chest and it went straight through her heart, and took her life.
I stared at those woods wanting to find the very spot she killed herself. A chilly wind slowly started to pick up and it pushed back my light brown hair and made by dark brown eyes watery. I took a step forward and another until I was running through the woods. Unaware that in those woods ANYTHING is possible. Your worst nightmares will become a reality and your most happiest thoughts will have a twist to it.

As I ran through the woods I started to slow down until I was just walking; looking at the dark trees towering over me like giants. Then I saw something I thought just existed in fairy tales -- I saw a troll. Its light gray skin and dark black hair made it almost invisible its clothes blended in as well I only saw it cause it was moving. It was gathering things I think. "Hello, there human girl!" It said giving me a huge yellowish smile. "Hi?" I replied not sure what to say. "What are you doing out here in these woods? Do you have a place to stay in?" She asked sounding worried. "No, I don't have a place to stay in." I replied not sure if I should tell her why I'm out here. "In that case, come. Come follow me." She said shuffling off deeper into the woods. I didn't have a place to go so I followed her.

Finally, we arrived at her place! I hate the path! I Hate it! She short, so she didn't have a problem getting through the poking branches, and she didn't have to worry about the spiderwebs wanting to stick to her face! Lucky. I on the other hand, had trouble getting the branches out of my precious hair. Which I'm sure looks a mini tornado went through it. My face! Ugh, felt like the spiderwebs were glued to it! I felt like crying - and I don't even know why... maybe it's because I feel like I could win the ugliest contest. 'I know I'm ugly, and always will be. Maybe that's why Krysta killed herself... so she won't have to look at my hideous face anymore.' I thought to myself bringing down my self-esteem.

She then unlocked her front door with a frogs foot, poor frog. I followed her into her cottage, and couldn't believe what I saw. There were endless hallways and doors; each door had a different door knob. " This is where you live?" I asked in awe. "Of course! Weren't expecting this?" She asked chuckling to herself. "Nope!" I answered still staring at the millions of doors. "What is your name, child?" She asked. 'Like I'm going to give her my name! I don't even know her name!' "People just call Dalsy." I lied. "Dalsy?" She said raising one of her thick dark eyebrows. "Yes, what's your?" I asked. "I liked your sister better. At least least she didn't lie to me like you do." Said the troll sounding like she was about to cry. "Say what now? You know my sister!?" I asked shocked that she knew my sister and I didn't even know that they knew each other. "Of course we knew each other!" She replied clearly annoyed. She cleared her throat and asked me again, "What is your name? And don't lie to me this time." She said warning me and giving me that look that says if you lie to me again you'll regret it. "Fine. I'll tell you my REAL name, it's Amber." I said staring down at the crystal like floor. She smiled at me and said, "Now, my name is Lina." 'What a weird name for a troll' I thought making a strange face. I looked the other way so Lina wouldn't notice that I made a face. "You said you knew my sister, correct?" I asked. Lina gave me a 'Duh' face, rude. "How did ya'll even meet?" I questioned her. "Same as you and me." Lina simply answered. I have one more question for her, hopefully she answers me. "Um... Lina... why did she kill herself?" I whispered. She looked up at me confused, "Who is this she and I don't know anybody who killed themselves." Now I was confused "The she is Krysta. She killed herself in these woods." I couldn't believe my ears she was laughing... too hard. I just couldn't help it I just have to explode "WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING!? MY SISTER IS DEAD!!!" I yelled. She stopped laughing and smiled at me and said,"Your sister isn't dead!" 'My sister is ALIVE! But the police told me she was dead, and said that she killed herself with a dull knife. Then this troll comes along and tells that she is ALIVE!' "How?" I asked not wanting to get my hopes up. Lina sighed,"Well to make long story short... that was her cover up." Before I could fire another question she walked away into one of the doors, so I decided to start processing the new information.

Lina's POV:
Before she could ask another question I walked into the hybrid room. Time to give her someone else to ask questions... like Watkins.
