Confrontation

I haven't left my house, eaten, slept, showered, or changed my clothes for three days. I felt so lifeless, and empty. Everything I had was gone: my aunt, my friends, Ben...

I would still be crying if I had any tears left. It hurt so much! I couldn't do this anymore. I didn't care what Ian or Orion said. I needed to be with Ben!

"Dammit," I muttered as I got off my bed and grabbed a pair of jeans, a black T-shirt, a black hoodie, and a pair of black sneakers before heading for the shower.

**

It was official, I was lost. Maybe trying to walk all the way to Ben's house in the dark while it's raining on an empty stomach wasn't the best idea.

Now that I got a good look at my surroundings, I was very confused. How the hell did I manage to end up in a forest?!

"You just don't know when to give up, do you?" A familiar voice growled.

I whipped around in surprise to see Ian glaring at me. I just couldn't catch a break, could I?

"What do you want, Ian," I growled.

Ian only responded by grabbing my arm. "C'mon, kid," he grunted. "I'm taking you home."

"Not until I see Ben!" I snapped.

Ian only growled as he tried to drag me with him.

"I'm really getting tired of going through this routine," he snarled.

"Well, that makes two of us," I retorted.

"I'm taking you home and that's final!" Ian roared as he gave my arm a painful yank.

"OW!" I cried. "You're hurting me!"

"I wouldn't have to if you made this easier," Ian growled.

"Let. Me. GO!" I yelled as I punched Ian straight in the nose. Ian crumbled to the ground, holding his nose.

I hesitated before heading back the way I came. I only took a few steps before I saw Ian's truck barreling towards me. I threw myself to the ground and covered my head as it flew over me, the sound of metal shifting filling my ears. Suddenly, there was a huge thud from behind me, causing the ground to shake. I looked behind me to see a huge, black robot glaring down at me. One quick look was all I needed to realize that it was Ian's truck. My eyes glanced at the menacing canons on his arms before looking over the where Ian was suppose to be, but to my horror, he was gone.

"I tried to make this easy, kid," the robot growled in a low, dangerous tone. My eyes widened when I realized that he had the same voice as Ian. "But you just had to make this hard."
