Make a choice Elda...

I woke up with Alexander gone and a letter that states 'Sorry I had to leave so early my parents landed early..' I smile at the letter. I head downstairs and tell Paige "I'm going to take the throne.." I say scared. "I will have to tell Alexander at the earliest opportunity.." "We have school today right?.." I run upstairs and get my school uniform on and race out the door I was still pretty early around about 20-10 minutes early. Everyone was complementing me on the party last night.. I didn't think much of it all I was thinking about the letter. I had to too tell Alex.. Eventually.. This was so hard to do but I finally did it... I walked up to him and he apologise "sorry for leaving early.." He said with sorry eyes. "It's okay.. But I need to tell you something.. Alone.. And I need you to not tell anybody not even your siblings or your parents.. Please.." I said. "Elda.. Your starting to worry me..." He reply. I take him into a spare room and lock the door. The words that were about to come out of my mouth would take him by surprise. "The thing I needed to tell you was.." I stop. "Was?...." He ask. "Was.. I am going to be queen of England.. Please don't freak out.." I say slowly but surely. "Wh-what?.. England has lived without a ruler for 17 years.." He say. "Shh.. I really need you to support me on this.. I'll explain..". "I have time.." Said Alexander.
I smile and begin to explain "okay.. It started yesterday morning when my birthday came before the party.. Paige wanted to give me something I was interested to see what she wanted to give me.. She went to a locked draw I always wondered what was in there.. She pulled out a old peace of paper with my name on it.." I explain what happened next and he listened. When I finished explaining and he talking to me. We walked out and People stared at us and we're whispering. "What?! Another rumour surprise surprise! Haha!" I say and leave the room. I walk out to the back oval and leave school early. Once they find out.. If they find out they will be shocked.
I drive home and guards are waiting at the door. "Miss Benton?" A tall man with white gloves and a black tuxedo asks. "Yes that's me.." I say slowly. "You have to come with me.." He said. "What? Why!" I yell without realising it. "I am not supposed to tell.." He said and grabbed me by the arm and shoved me into a short car with black windows you couldn't see into the car.
I soon realised it was about me becoming Queen.
He let me out of the car and a oldish looking man comes up to me and hugs me. I push away he takes my hand and leads me into the palace. It was still school hours so no one was really around. The gate creek as if they haven't been used in 50 years.
Still confused. Why was I here? How did they know?. That thought keeps haunting me for the rest of the evening. Once I walked in a lady in a blue wig with heavy blue makeup and a strange looking dress approaches me and gives me the most gentle hug. "Well.. We have to get you measured!" She says exited she looks quite young maybe 20-27. "Measured for what?" I ask. "Your coronation of course!! I've been waiting for this for the longest time! You are going to become our queen aren't you?.." She asks he voice sends me into a confused mood to exited.. Being the queen doesn't mean anything to me.. Just a lot of decisions.. "Oh yes of course.." I said.
She extends my arms up and measured me waist the usual if you where getting something designed for you. "Perfect! Absolutely wonderful! We have our measurements!" Her high pitched voice makes me want to run into a haunted house and put my head in between a dozen pillows. I nod and she say "are you going to spend a night at the palace?" She asks. "You don't have to but it would be an absolute pleasure if you could!" She adds quickly. "Yeah.. I'll stay does Paige know?.." I ask. "Who is Paige my dear?" She asks me. "The person who raised me.. My maid..".
"Oh darling.. Forget about her.. You living in the palace now.. Your going to be the que-" I stop her and say "yes! I'm going to be the queen and I make the decisions around here!" I point to one of the guards "Go and get her! Or I I'll refuse to be the queen! And you will once again have no ruler!" I yell. "There she is!" Yells a voice from behind me a man with grey hair. A old man.. The others look at me and the guard takes my orders. "There's our future queen see that's what I promised you!" He shouts in excitement. "Yes dear.." Said the woman. "Also its important for you to know your stylists name.. I'm Cassia.." She said. "And I'm figuring you know me.." I replied. "Yes dear.." She said. "The dress should arrive tomorrow.. And your coronation will be tomorrow.. As well.." She said. "Tomorrow!" I yell in shock. "Yes dear when else would it be.. Now.. I shall show you to your room.." Said Cassia.
She leads me  to a huge door and opens it. I see a double bed with black outline and a silver cover over my sheets pillows and blanket. A chandelier hangs from the roof a real one... And a huge window with blinds lights up my room. "I know it's not much.." Said Cassia. "Not much?! This is amazing!" I look at her. She lead me to the wardrobe and opens it millions upon millions of clothes and shoes hang from the racks. She pick an outfit and give it to me to put on she then leaves the room.
I change into it. A light green baggy singlet and a black long skirt. I walk out and they all stare at me in admiration "I need to do something you can all be excused.." They all nod and I ring Alex. Voicemail.. I leave one saying "Hi Alex.. It's me.. Please ring me back when you can.. I really need to talk to you.." I say and out my phone down I lay on my bed and look at the ceiling and bite my bottom lip.
*mean while at school*
Alexander didn't notice his phone was ringing. Everyone was staring at him and calling him names. Even his friends turned against him. A particular person called Elda out "Where's your girlfriend? Did she finally leave you? After all you've done to her.. We all know what happened with you and Kendall face it Alex she's gone.." Said a tall boy with brown hair. Alexander gets mad and pins the boy against the lockers "Don't talk about her that way who do you think you are! What if I comment on your girlfriend and well at least I have one!" He yells and punch's him. The voicemail plays in his pocket and he hears it the whole school hears it.. His volume was up to maximum. he let the boy go and pull out his phone out of his pocket and walks away he turns the voicemail off and calls Elda.
*back to the normal story line*
"Hello?" I ask. "Hi Elda.. Um I got suspended..and I heard your voicemail.. Or should I say the whole school got your voicemail.." He replied. "What? What do you mean?" I ask.
"I think we need to see each other in person.. Meet me after school at the cafe that's near the palace" said Alexander. "Okay.. I'll meet you there in what? 20 minutes?" I ask. "Yeah 20 minutes is enough time.. I'll see you then.." He said. I hang up and find something else to wear something casual. Ripped jeans and a red and black checkered long sleeve shirt with combat boots. I leave my hair down and walk out the door they ask where I am going "where are you going?" They all ask me. "And dressed like that!" Said Cassia. "Out! And what's wrong with this you know all the time I don't wanna play dress ups!" I say as a guard escorts me outside and opens the gates I walk through them and no one is there thankfully. I walk to the cafe and it starts raining I sit down and Alex is already there I have rain drops in my hair and I didn't notice. "Hey.. Sorry! It started raining.." I apologise to Alexander. "It's okay.." He said. A waitress comes with two cups of hot coffee "how did you know I liked coffee?" I ask. "Because your my girlfriend.." He laughs. "Why did you wanna meet?" I ask. "I just wanted to explain what happened and why I got suspended.." "Okay.." I said. "So it all started when you left today.. People kept looking at me and whispering when I walked down the halls.. But in particular a tall boy with brown hair said 'where's your girlfriend? Did she finally leave you? After all you've done to her..we all know what happened with you and Kendall just face it Alex she's gone..' I got really mad and pinned the guy up against the lockers and started yelling at him and I punched him.. And teachers suspended me for a month.. Which in a month is when school ends officially but they still said I could come to graduation.." Said Alexander.
I looked at Alexander and looked down. He look into my eyes and I look up and say "y-you risked getting suspended to defend me?.." I ask in shock. "Yes.." He said.
I look at him. "Um. What I wanted to tell you was.. The coronation is tomorrow and tonight at 6:00 pm it will be reviled that I accepted the roll to become queen.. And Alex.. Im scared!" I said. I stand up to leave but before I do Alex takes my hand and stands up to he then hug me and say "it will be alright..". At this point I'm shaking.
He looks at me and I look down. I look at my phone '5:30 pm' I show him the time I look up at him in fear "come back to the palace with me?.." I say quietly so no one can hear. "Of course.." He says. He holds my hand and he puts and umbrella up as it is still raining there is a side gate around the back of the palace we could walk through so no one would know it was me he puts the umbrella down and we walk inside. They all look at us "Who is this?.." Asks Cassia. I look at him and out my hands in my pocket "my boyfriend.." I say. "Boyfriend?" Says Cassia in shock "You can't!" She adds.
"You know what Cassia.. Your not my mother.. And you don't control what I do and what I say!! What I recall was I only met you 5 hours ago!" I say annoyed and go up to my room with Alex. "Young lady.." Said Cassia. I slam the door shut and put my hands over my face. I sit so my back is on the door. I soon hear a knock on the door. I roll my eyes. "It's almost 6:00 pm.." Says and loud males voice from the door. I stand up immediately and look at the time '5:56 pm' I start panicking Alexander try's to calm me down "I can't do this.." I say and look at him frightened. The door opens and i turn around immediately and see Cassia I race down stairs and sit on the couch slowly. The T.V is turned on and the news report is on saying 'A young girl at the age of 18 yes Elda Armenta is Becoming the Queen tomorrow we have lived without a throne for 17 years everyone is invited at the castle tomorrow afternoon' I stand up and am shaking "T-tomorrow.. Oh gosh! I need to make a speech!!"' I say. "Already done Elda calm down.." Said Cassia. I look at her and sit back down in relief my hands covered over my face and my arms rest on my lap. They all look at me and Cassia soon says "Anyone hungry? Let's eat!" We are all lead to a huge dining hall. I sit down and pick at my food. A singular tear rolls down my cheek I find myself staring strait ahead. All I am thinking is 'why..' 'Why did no one tell me..'. I bite my bottom lip. I excuse myself "I'm done.." I say and head upstairs. Rodolfo the Male with the Loud deep voice says "She won't be able to handle it.." He says and Cassia replies "of course she will Rodolfo!".
"No she's not strong enough..".
"Stop doubting her!" Yells Cassia.
I head back downstairs for a while and say goodbye to Alex "Promise you will be there.." I say. "Always.." He replies.
He walks out the door I take a deep breath.
It's got late fast and I eventually went to sleep with no nightmares tomorrow.. Is the big day Tommow...
