(Ruby's POV)
I woke up from a loud beeping noise and yelling from downstairs "RUBY WAKE UP YOUR GOING TO BE LATE!" my dad yells, as i get out of bed i check my phone. Nothing. I threw my phone on the bed and screcthed. "What am i going to wear today?.." i ask myself as i walk over to my closet "hmm i like this." I say as i put on a red hoodie with black pants and red converse. I put my phone in my pocket, grab my stuff and go downstairs "cmon ruby!" My dad yells once again as i close the front door and walks over to the car "are you excited about your first day of school?" He asks me as he starts the engine "If you mean by the divorce of you and mom then yeah. Everythings just peachy." I tell him as i stare out the window "Fine be like that." he says as we pull out of the driveway
*Time skip*
As i step out of the car my dad yells "HAVE A GREAT DAY SWEETIE!" at the top of his lungs. The whole school got quiet as everyone looked at me...i blushed a dark red from embaressment and pointed my dad out to leave
"The first day and i've already been humiliated.." i say to myself as i walk into first period;
(SAPPHIRE'S POV)
i sat at my desk as this girl walks in. She looks directly at me then blushes, "Class we have a new student today! Her name is ruby and i want all of you to make her first day great!" Mrs.Quarts said as she pointed at the desk next to me telling ruby that's her new seat
"Wait what? She's going to sit next to me? For the rest of the year?" I say to myself as she sits down and places her backpack on the back of her chair, i blushed as soon as she turned to me and smiled "do i really have a crush on this girl already?!" I say to myself once again "Um..hey i'm ruby." She says as she holds one hand out for a handshake,
"Hi, i'm sapphire." I say as i shake her hand with a smile
