My name is Crystal. My life was destined to end. A fact that I long since accepted since the accident that killed my parents, the attempted kidnapping, the almost fatal falls and the freaky accidents where I somehow still end up alive. The kids started to call me the luckiest person alive.

My social worker refers to me as the wanted corpse.

Today, never thought it'd me be saying this.

Things got worse.

My problem stared at me right through the mirror smirking, mocking me with the same face and twirling straight strands of my hair that were longer than my own. The stupid imitation stood right next to my reflection and blew me a kiss.

I feel back to the floor frightened.

There were two of me.
And me number two did not look happy to see me at all.

"Crystal."

My head turned.

Before me stood a middle aged woman. Her eyes glistened with unshed tears as she stood right in the middle of my room staring at me.

"Crystal, dear," she said lowering herself to my level. Me number two mocked her stance through the mirror, "this is gonna be frightening and painful. But I'm gonna need you to remember,

She raised her hand and I screamed.

With the past freak accidents that happened with me in the last few weeks, they had basically marked my room and always had an ambulance on standby should anything for example this right now at this very moment when I started screaming like a banshee.

My mirror shattered.

My brows raised. I stopped screaming. I scrambled to my feet and made a ran for it to the door when I bumped into someone.

"To think I thought I beat it here," lady muttered when I bumped into a body where my door should me.

I spotted straight long hair and looked up to find my self staring into dark very dark black eyes. My eyes. In my body, looking back at me with a very sinister smirk.

I screamed again.

"Why is this happening?!" I screamed to no one in particular as I backed away.

"The magic is polluted." The lady said.

She moved to stand in front of me.

"I thought it would bond to you immediately," she continued to ramble as she analysed me. Me number two. Her. The clone. The she-devil with my face that looked like she hated the idea we shared a face.

"She doesn't look like she fancies the idea of being friends," I whispered when she took a step forward.

The hall monitor stormed in, "I SWEAR TO GOD CRYSTAL - what are you doing on the floor?"

I looked up.... from the floor where I was on my knees in front of my mirror which lay in pieces all around me.

"If this is your attempt at suicide," she went on analysing me for blood, " you're not doing a great job for once."

"Clean it up and get ready for school unless you want to flunk yet another term."

She shut the door. My heart dropped. I could have sworn I had seen what I had seen.

I swept up the shards careful with the edges as I put them away. Finals might be playing tricks on me, I thought to myself whilst grabbing my bag and making my way out of the dorm.

History started with a pop quiz. Somehow I had known this would happen and had spent all night preparing for it. Everything had been going great. I colored in the right answers. Madam Deluca started snatching the answer sheets as soon as the time ran out and for once I was done by the time she snatched mine. She paused giving me a puzzled look before continuing her path. People at school avoided me for good reason. I brought about destruction wherever I went. I did not blame them. Being lonely was something I had groan used to. I had Wallace. And he had me.
