Percabeth and the Argo II Chapter 2

Annabeth threw some clothes- and other items she would need- into a suitcase. She packed Daedalus' laptop- she had lost it in Tartarus, but Hades had retrieved it for her- to watch movies with Percy. She carefully folded her favorite, sparkly blue and gray dress, along with a silver owl necklace, to wear tonight. She and Percy were going to eat dinner alone in a new room on the Argo II tonight. Leo had promised it was going to be romantic. She and Percy were going to do the same for Leo and Calypso tomorrow. 

Meanwhile, Percy was also packing. He talked the night over with Leo, who promised he would make the night special for Annabeth. This was Percy and Annabeth's anniversary, after all. They had known each other for four years- since Percy was 12. They had started dating after the Titan War. Then Percy had been kidnapped and his memory had been taken taken by Your Royal Highness Cow Queen Hera. 

Eight months.

That's how long it had taken to defeat Gaea after Percy and Jason had been switched.

Too long, in Annabeth's mind. At camp, they burned his shrine, assuming he was dead. Annabeth had literally done nothing at camp until they heard Percy was alive. Now tonight was going to be the best night they'd ever have together.
