Deana limped as fast as she could. Another scream echoed through the black halls. Sammy. The single thought was the only strength she still felt. She ran until there was a heavy wooden door. The scream intensified. Sammy is here. Deana braced herself and kicked the door with all her might. Intensive, fiery pain shot up her leg. She cried out in pain and stumbled down to the ground. There was a whooshing sound, followed by a sharp crack, and another ear splitting scream.
"SAM!" Deana's new drive helped her kick down the door. The pain shot up again, but she refused to let it annoy her. She sprinted into the room and found her sister laying limply in a chair. "Sammy," Deana breathed. She wasted no time in undoing the leather straps on Sam's wrists, head and ankles. "Sammy," Deana said again, gently slapping her sister's face. "Sam." More gentle slaps. "Samantha Winchester, if you don't wake up right now..." Deana's voice cracked just barely. She refused to let tears spill. "SAMMY!"
"Hello, darling." Deana didn't even need to turn to know who that was.
"Cadence."
"Now, don't be so hostile, Squirrelly," Cadence said. She walked toward Sam. Deana turned and drew her demon blade.
"You lay a damn finger on my sister, you bitch, and I will-"
"Oh, you'll torture me so that I'll wish I was dead, you'll burn me so that I'll burn more than Hell itself, yada yada yada, I know. Hold your petticoats, woman." Cadence continued walking towards the siblings. "I want to make a deal."
"Leave, Cadence," Deana growled.
"This is my warehouse, Deana. I will do with it as I PLEASE!" She screamed. Deana felt a spike of fear in her heart, but the cold stare she fixed on her didn't budge. "I have an offer you can't refuse."
Deana's eyebrow arched up in false curiosity. "Oh, please, tell me more," she drawled.
"There is an angel." Deana blinked, then chuckled.
"Angel? Angels don't exist, jacka-"
"I wasn't quite finished," Cadence hissed. Deana sighed. When she made a gesture for Cadence to go on, she continued. "Her name is Castiella Novak. She is Heaven's most wanted rebel. I have her location, but I can't get her."
"Because you're an idiot?"
"Because I'm the bloody Queen of Hell, you bitch."
"Ah, right," Deana said sarcastically. A smirk crossed her lips. She would never let Cadence know how worried she was for Sam. Cadence glared at her.
"Anyways, the place is dripping in warding. None of my people can get within ten blocks of it. However, you are human. You could simply walk inside."
"Why would I do this?"
"I'll revive your sister." Dread and pain filled Deana.
"... Revive?" She croaked.
"Oh, you couldn't tell? Sammy's dead. Long gone, love. Dead as a doornail."
"Long gone?" Deana couldn't breathe. Cadence smirked, lifting a tape recorder.
"Recorded. I knew you'd escape and all that, so I made some recordings of Sammy while she was still alive." She chuckled. "You two are honestly much more predictable than you think you are."
