Sorting it all out

kalani's POV:
"Done!" I said with an exasperated tone...I finished packing for my "vacation". The only thing different about this trip is that I'm going alone and that no one knows of my "vacation". I pull out a shoe box filled with unorganized money. It took quite a while, but I finally counted all the money , 350 dollars...and 78
cents. I had been planning my escape from my life and trying to start over my whole life. As crazy and ridiculous as it sounds, I elaborately planned out everything, I cut my hair and dyed it black, I checked bus schedules, looked at motel, bus, and train prices. I so desperately wanted to say goodbye to my best friend Addy, but I knew too well that I couldn't (if I did she would obviously have gotten suspicious).

A/N: This is my first book so I am very new to this, hope you like this short first chapter!
