My Puppy Girlfriend

Camila has been traveling around space for what seemed like years and to her it was, but back on Earth it had only been a few months.

Time was weird.

Camila had left Earth three months ago on a solo mission and had somehow found a worm hole leading to another galaxy. She still looked the same, she didn't have any wrinkles, but she's been traveling through this galaxy for almost two years. Trying to find something new, she didn't care what it was, all that Camila knew was she was not going back home. Until she found something to bring back with her, whether it was something she would keep or give the space station, something new to poke at.

Camila was stubborn, but that's not the only reason she wouldn't go home, because who knows if this discovery will ever happen again a whole new galaxy. She can still, by some weird miracle, communicate with the space station. When she went off the grid they panicked, only to have Camila call in a few minutes later explaining what she thought had happened. Apparently she was right, she was in another galaxy.

Camila was getting tired of traveling aimlessly around space, the only thing that kept her alive and not wanting to walk out of her ship without her helmet was the space food. Believe it or not she's still alive because of dried banana pancakes, crazy right?

After eventually finding out that her food supplies would last her only a few more months Camila was getting antsy. She wanted to find something new and exciting in this galaxy. She was mindlessly floating around and playing with a paddleball, well trying to play with one, when she hit herself in the eye with the ball. Letting it float away after her small staring contest with it, Camila looked out the ships window to find a new planet.

Camila squealed with joy and doggy paddled over to her seat in the front of the spacecraft and clicked the button to get ahold of the space station. "Hello! Is anyone there, I think I discovered a new planet!" Camila said into her headset attached to her helmet. "Yes? Astronaut Cabello we hear you loud and clear, if you explore this new planet please be careful. We know nothing about this planet, the air levels or if it contains any living creatures. Congratulations on your find, but be careful." The voice on the other line said. Camila just smiled and prepared herself for landing.

Coming closer to the planet Camila realizes that this planet reminded her of Earth. It has trees, she assumes to be oak and grass on the ground. Guiding her space ship, Camila lands in an open field and got out of her ship, with her suit and helmet on and ready to explore.

Looking around, the first thing Camila sees is trees, lots of them. She's just scanning her eyes over the area when she spots a tail. From her distance it looks like a dog's tail, maybe a wolf or husky?

Cautiously walking up to the tree that's hiding the rest of the body, Camila clears her throat. The tail disappears behind the tree and Camila is met face to face with a girl, with frightened green eyes. Camila stares into her eyes, almost like she's in a trace and whispers, "Planet Green Eyes." She's broken out of her trance when this mystery girl slowly backs away, whimpering with her tail in between her legs. Camila now notices that the tail she saw was connected to this frightened girl. Thinking on instinct Camila puts her hand out, as you would for a new dog. The girl, who looks about Camila's age maybe a year older, slowly walks towards Camila and sniffs her hand.

As the mystery girl sniffs her hand Camila actually looks at her, she notices the girls ears are not on the side of her head, but atop. Pointed husky ears rest upon her head and a tail slightly wagging behind her. "Hey pup," Camila greets her, "what's your name?" Camila is now sitting on the ground with her new friend sitting next to her, much like a dog. The girl tilts her head to the side and barks out, "LoLo!"

Camila smiles gently at LoLo and reaches her hand out to be sniffed again. While LoLo sniffs her again Camila asks her, "LoLo? Is that short for Lauren? "LoLo looks up at Camila and barks, smiling up at her, a twinkle in her eyes. "Are you the only one here?" Camila asks, Lauren just tilts her head again and replies with 'LoLo' again. When Camila is done asking a few more questions she figures out Lauren only knows how to say LoLo.
