Today I'm starting the huntress exam with my new friends kurasaki and Leah! The first thing we're told is to follow the instructor down a creepy long dark tunnel when I hear Leah shout "hey brat! Have some respect for the exam! Your using a skateboard that's cheating!! This is an endurance test!" I quickly retort with "no, she just told us to follow her!" The girl starts to slow down to me and asks how old I am I reply with "12!" I hear her say "I guess I'll walk too" and she does this amazing skateboard trick!! "Wow! That was amazing!" I look at her in awe. "I'm Kira" I hear her say, I introduce myself. "I'm Gigi!" I quickly hear her make a deal with me "wanna race? If you win I buy you dinner but if I win you have to buy me dinner!" I agree almost instantaneously! We bolt ahead and before we know it already 140 people have dropped out, we head up a huge staircase and a conversation starts I ask her "so, why do you want to become a huntress?" And she simply said "to kill time, I'm impressed you've been able to keep up with me. Well, that or everyone else is slow but I thought I would do it because I've been told it's really hard but this is disappointing.. How about you?" I answer proudly "to find my mom! She became a huntress and I want to found out why she would rather be a huntress them be there for me!" I have a huge grin of anticipation on my face as we near the finish line. "GOAL!!!" We both yell in excitement. I yell with all my heart "yay I win!!" She immediately responds "what, are you talking about! I totally won!" And we just go back and fourth until we ask satso-san (I can't think of a gender bent name) who won until she replied "unfortunately you both crossed the line simultaneously.." "Aww man" I say in despair "Hmm, then how about you buy me dinner than I'll buy you dinner!" I say uncertainly. "Whaaaat? I don't think I get it" she (Kira) states in confusion. "*sigh* oh well, maybe next time" she says in disappointment. (Shoot! Did I just soil some of the chances of us being friends?!)
