Stranded

A couple days later it was Halloween. Collin invited Pie, Gabby, Kat, Xavier, KingBob, and me over to his house. We started to play spin the bottle. The bottle ended up landing on KingBob and me! "Hell nah!" Said Kingbob. "Ew no way!" I said. "You have too!" says Collin. "No." I said. I knew on the inside that KingBob was happy. He had liked me for awhile now. "Come on Star. The faster we do this the faster it's over." KingBob says. "Ugh fine." I say. I give Collin a dirty look before walking into the bathroom. "Sooo." KingBob says. "Stop making it awkward!" I say. "Sorry haha." He says. "Okay you can start." I say. Kingbob leans in and kisses me. It was weird because I liked it. I knew Collin and Xavier were peeking through the crack in the door, because I could hear them laughing. Then Collin opened up the door. I stuck the middle finger up at him, and pushed past him. "It's not fucking funny." I say. "Woah! Hey it's just a joke." Collin tells me. I walk over to Xavier, take off his hat and put it on. "Do I look awesome?" I say. "Uh yeah, but I look better." Kat says taking the hat off my head, and putting it on hers. Collin starts to laugh and gives Kat a kiss on the cheek. Gabby comes back inside from smoking. Everyone has tried to get her to stop, but apparently smoking runs in her family. "Lets go get ice cream!" Gabby says so loud that China could probably hear. Everyone screams "YASSSSSS." We get in Gabby's car, and she starts driving. I turn on the radio and the song Watch me Whip Watch me Nae Nae comes on. Kat and Pie start to do the whip. Everyone starts to laugh. I get up and climb up onto the sunroof of her car. "Hey Star be careful!" Gabby says. "Okay I will!" I reply. All of the sudden I see this car drive up really close to Gabby's car. I couldn't really see the driver, but I could see he had a gun. "GABBY GO. DRIVE FASTER!!!!!!!" I yell. "Huh? What? Why?" She says. "JUST GO RIGHT FUCKING NOW! DRIVE!!!!" I yell at her. "Okay okay. God damn chill Star." She replies. She starts to drive faster and faster until I can't see the car anymore. I climb back into the car, scared from what I just saw. "Hey Star. Are you okay? What did you see?" Says Kat "I-I-I. N-nothing." I say. "Come on tell us. You can't just make Gabby drive faster for no reason." Pie says. "Yeah she's right. What's wrong?" Collin says. "I-I saw a car drive up behind Gabby, and the driver had a gun in his hand." "Wh-wha-what?" Kat says. "Babe it's okay. Star you're probably just tired, and you're seeing things." "Ye-yeah." I stutter. Still not sure of what I saw. I'm pretty sure it was a gun, but I shouldn't say anything else about it. I don't want to scare Kat and the rest of them. I lean on Xavier's shoulder. Out of the corner of my eye, I see KingBob looking angry as hell. All of the sudden, he pushes Xavier over, so my head isn't on his shoulder. Jealous much? "What the hell bro?!" Xavier yells at KingBob. I lean against KingBob's shoulder pretending to be asleep. I hear KingBob whisper to Xavier "She's mine so back off." "Okay okay. You could've just told me." He whispers back. I look over to see Collin and Kat asleep. They were cuddling with each other. I see a flash go off and then I see Pie holding her phone. She probably took a picture of them, and is going to post it on Instagram. Gabby then stops the car. I sit up. "Why'd you stop?" Says KingBob. "I didn't. We ran out of gas." Gabby replies. "Oh no this is how it always is in the horror movie. The group of teens get stranded in the middle of nowhere, and some guy kills them all." Xavier says whining like a baby. "Fuck you Xavier. Now I'm a scared." Kat says. I didn't know she was awake. "Babe it's okay. We're all gonna be fine." Collin says trying to comfort her. Kat scoots closer to him, and he hugs her tightly. "Man this fucking sucks." Pie says. "I know right plus it's dark out I say." Oh! I know!" Says Pie. "What's your idea?" Kat and I say at the same time. "I remember we pasted a gas station like 10 minutes ago. Some of us could walk there, and some of us could stay here. Or we could all go together. Or just wait until someone passes by." Pie says. "I'm not walking back that way. Plus we're in the middle of nowhere. What if we see that guy in the car again?" I say. "Yeah I'm not going either, but I don't want to stay here either. What if that guy shows up while we're waiting here?" Kat says. Xavier sighs. "Star you probably just imagined that. Like Collin said, you're probably just tired and you're seeing things." "Xavier shut up. You were the one who said this is how all horror movies start." I said. Before Xavier could say anything. We heard a horn honk, and saw head lights in the distance.
