THE QUEEN'S COMMAND and the Orache's Descent
(BOOK 1)
PROLOGUE
“During the Medieval ages, the king had been very evident to be the sole ruler of the kingdom together with her lovely Queen that serves as his representative for various occasions. The Queen has always been the shadow of the king for all time. A Queen takes an oath to always be with the king's side and pledge his loyalty to its kingdom.
Wherever the king goes the Queen should always follow and do whatever he does. She is permitted to get whatever she wants and perform whatever task she chooses. She obtains the power of ruling and can enforce anything making it imperative, with the equal amount of prowess compared to the King. But the Queen somehow is restricted to battles and its fundamentals. No Queen has ever attempted to pose as the chief of the army and be its defender.
One last tiny thing is limited for her might, the Queen's inability to go beyond the magnate and command of his husband. Despite her position in the feudal system she cannot inverse any command made by his spouse to the area of governance unless provided and with due permission. The Queen, if she's still alive, should also step down after the King has died and that the successor, heir to the throne, and her wife be the next royalty.”
A professor wearing a velvet rose robe with a letter “C” inscription on the top right part of it, described while inculcating the essence of one of the most symbolic icon of the Kingdom, “The QUEEN”.
A hand raised right before her last word, “But Professor what will happen to the Queen after?" A thin, young boy asked.
"Good Questioning! Umm well.........." By the looks of it, she finds the question quite difficult and it took her a bit to finally recall what the records and history had shown.
"aha!......After she steps down the throne, she must stay on the kingdom inside the palace of her choice except for the King's castle which will then be occupied by the new royalty. Just like what happened to Queen Amizala who stayed in the Burken Palace for the last days of her life before she died last year.” a babbling reply by the mentor.
KRINGGGGGG!
The school bell rang loudly enough to be heard by everybody around. It was heard across the corridors, on all the rooms inside the school up to the high ceiling painted with numerous pictures of witchcrafts. The students shouted aloud and stood up except for the confused looking student about the bizarre explanation on his inquiry. He scratched his head and wait for the knowledge to sink in until he finally gives up.
"Ahh?!.." A sign of discontentment could still be seen on the face of the student, a clear showing of confusion to the earlier information added by her teacher. He is perplexed of the law and why wouldn’t the queen rule after all??
"Did I answer your question, Drake?" the teacher asked.
"Yes...quite professor and perhaps I don't have the liberty to ask another one for my classmates seem to be in a hurry!" A smooth laughter delivered by Drake, an ardent student of the school doubtfully replied.
He is wearing a blue stripped uniform with the same “C” inscription on the top right corner of it, dark pants to cover up his long slender legs and a necklace that has a pendant, shaped like a star with the swastika looking symbol sticking out of the star’s edges. Drake is popularly known at school to be the boy who wears the most alluring smile around.
The day at Cenbari School of Wizardry has concluded as the bell rang. The students stood up and went crazy for the tiring day at school has expired and the long awaited summer has come.
"So this wraps it up, that is our last topic for the whole semester has ended. Good bye kids may all the things that you've learned here be applied outside with due responsibilities. You must always understand its consequences and concerns. Have a nice vacation, see you next year!" Professor Mida McCrei said. The short yet stout mentor of ancient magical history, bids her goodbyes to her beloved pool of students. She took her handkerchief on the left pocket of her robe and wiped her teary eyes.
“Be good! Alright, you may go now!” McCrei said in a breaking voice.
The students one by one gave their teacher their simplest gifts and went out loud to celebrate their success as they inch closer to their goals of being wizards and witches of their well loved home, ELUDA. They reached for the door and grouped into their peers. They bid their goodbyes to each other and head to the “Teleboarder”, a portal that instantly transmits you to any place you key in.
After the students had stepped out the portals of the school's vicinity, the professor quickly erased the writings in the board and arranged her things to set for home immediately. At one moment McCrei was stunned by an intuition, a thought of fire, death and destruction, three factors that constitutes war and the apocalypse. She looked at her back and the wind razed to her location giving her goose bumps and chills. “A forthcoming of an end?” a hissing question by the mentor cut through the thickness of the room’s mood.
She moved out of the room with sheer agility as she felt really uncomfortable of the event.
