Ralph,My brother, and I took the lift to the second floor to get to our parent's room. We chatted for a bit until we reached the floor.
I open their bedroom door to see My Mum, Dad, And John all on the bed sitting. Straight bodies. A habit we all have.
"Good timing my Dear, We were all just talking about you looking for someone to marry to rule the kingdom" Dad said.
"Me? Look for someone to marry? But Father I'm Too young. I'm 20 years old. Can't John or Ralph do it? besides they are older than me." I said. I didn't want to get married at this young age.
"They can not Voluntarily look for someone they want to marry because they are already set up for someone. They will meet the kind ladies tomorrow and you will Search for a boy you'll marry tomorrow. That settles it. end of discussion" Father said. He isn't very good with his temper.
but How can I live with someone comfortably If they only want power?
I sigh and walk out the room without even bothering to say a 'goodnight' to my parents. I take the lift back to my room and lay on the bed, thinking.
How can I marry someone who will love me for me?
that question ran through my mind while I force myself to sleep.
Oh how I wish Life was easier than this.
