The thing about life is you never know when it'll throw you a curve ball. You're walking along totally fine, life's good. And then all of a sudden someone walks into your life and turns it all upside down. That's how I felt the day I met you.
My life was cruising along just fine. My biggest problems revolved around the lack of decent ice cream in the city and my longest standing relationship was with my cat. Then you walked round a dirty city street and quite literally crashed into my life.
In hindsight I'd say it was probably my fault. Texting and walking had never really been a talent of mine. But then again you can't have been watching where you were going. I guess we were both at fault, funny how we should start the same way we ended in that regard.
We should have known right then, that this would only end hurting both of us. But we didn't see it until it was to late. So instead of putting my head down and walking past. You smiled at me. And some stupid part of my brain decided to open up my mouth and say something really original like "oh I'm so sorry." And that was when everything began to fall apart.
