"Are you sure nobody guilted you into going to this party? It's usually not your thing to do, you know." Deuce said before glancing up from his iCoffin as Aidiran got herself ready in the bathroom. She reassured him yet again for the sixth time that night. "What Draculuara said was right. I'm trying to make friends at this school, and what better way to meet other ghouls than at a party? I have to seize this opportunity while its out in the open." "Ugh. You're starting to sound like mom. Luckily I'm going to this party too" "Says who?" She walked out the bathroom and looked at Deuce in curiosity. "I did. Now let's get going while the night is young." "You're just rushing me because you know that Cleo will be there." Aidrian practically spent the majority of the summer watching Deuce and his girlfriend Cleo make gogo eyes at one another. It was sweet at first, but like most things, it eventually got old.
The car ride seemed to go by pretty quickly. Yet the wave of anxiousness didn't hit Aidrian until Deuce rang the doorbell and pulled her inside. It was everything she pictured it would be: loud music, groups dancing, possibly spiked drinks. All the more reason for Aidrian to be hesitant with her actions; where would she fit in? The crowd only seemed to get larger as she wiggled her way through to the other side. That was when she heard it "Oh my gosh, you made it!!.." an all too familiar voice boomed, and she knew exactly who it was. Draculuara didn't waste any time to pull Aidrian out of the crowd and near the lounge area where she had been standing. "I am so glad you're here. I need your help and or support right now!" "What's wrong...!?" "Could you put your phone in the bowl with me? I don't want to do it alone." ".....I don't think I know what that means." Draculuara's eyes widened quite a bit after she heard those words. "Didn't I tell you that this is a phone mixer? You put you phone into a bowl that they pass around. Then they pass it back around to the guys. Whoever picks you phone has to find you and then take you to a room, and then you-" "I think I got the picture, thanks and Yes, you did forget to mention that "tiny" detail earlier." Aidiran could feel the snakes on her head changing color due to her emotions. "You're not mad are you? Oh gosh, if you do me this one favor then I would so owe you one! Pleeeeeeeease?"
"I can't believe I'm actually doing this..." Aidrian thought to herself as she hesitated putting her phone into the bowl for longer than she had thought while she gave her self the 16th mental motivation speech that day. Deciding that she no longer wanted her hand dangling over the bowl like an idiot, she finally set her iCoffin on top of all the others and let out a big, insecure sigh. Draculuara smiled and clapped her hands together in excitement. "Thank you sooooo much for doing this, ghoul. I owe you one....Well maybe I don't if you get some make out time with a hot guy. This place is crawling with casketball players!" "Well I actually I umm..." Aidrian didn't know wanted to say anything about who she really wanted to pick her phone or not. So far, Draculuara has been the only person she would actually consider a decent friend, good for her first day at the school. Her thoughts were interrupted by her friend's voice again. "Anyone you're obviously thinking about in particular?.." Aidrian said nothing at all, but she made the biggest mistake of the day and made eye contact with Draculuara, practically giving away all that she was thinking. Draculuara's smile dropped from her face for a moment but instantly returned in an even bigger display, flashing her fangs. Then she let out the biggest gasp of the entire day, at least from what Aidrian has heard. "Y-...you want to make out with DJ Holt Hyde!?!?"
Aidrian quickly covered Draculuara's mouth with her hand before she could scream any louder. "Shhhhhh! This may be harder to believe, but you're actually louder than the music. Someone could hear you!" She moved her hand away and wiped the excess lipstick off while Draculuara began to speak again. She giggled first before containing enough of her excitement to get actually words out. "I'm sorry! Holt Hyde is such a hotie. Sometimes, I mean that literally. You guys would make the cutest couple ever and trust me, it'll be all over the Ghostly Gossip! Other ghouls will be sooooo jealous!" "sighs when do they start picking out of the bowl?" Suddenly, there was a eruption of cheers coming from the lounge area. Draculuara squealed in excitement and grabbed Aidrian by the arm "I would have to say right now! Lets go!" She pulled her through the crowed and over to the source of the cheers. Sure enough, there were jocks rushing to pick phones out of the bowl in a huff of excitement. "Oh god! What if I get some random guy? What, am I just expected to kiss someone I don't even know...?!" Aidrian said with rising concern as she wanted the phones being taken away. "Well at least most of these jocks are super cute. But yeeeeeees I do know how much you want Holt to pick your phone. But please don't get your hopes too too high. Me personally, I am aiming for Clawd Wolf, of course. But I will be happy enough to get someone cute if I don't get him. Just as long as I don't get Heath Burns. Ugh! He is so annoying, I would absolutely die if I had to make out with him." That was when two werewolves stepped out of the crowd with big smiles.
