"It was something else..." I smirk. My dad's eyes widen in horror, while my mom stood there smiling happily. "We were only gone a few weeks, what could've happened within then?" My mom asks excitedly, hope gleaming in her green eyes.

"Can we talk about this later? It's a bit too early for this..." My dad shakes his head. "It's three in the afternoon honey, shape up," my mother laughs.

I smile, noticing Amy and Chris walking towards us. "Oh! We forgot to give this to you," Chris passes a black suitcase - that looks a bit too heavy - to my dad.

I feel someone nudge me gently, looking over I see Andy looking worried. My eyebrows knitted together in confusion.

"What's the matter?" I whisper, staring at his anxious expression. "Something is going on, I can tell," He murmurs back, hearing my parents along with his laughing loudly at something.

"What do you mean?" I ask him. If he was talking about our parents, I see nothing really... Wrong about them. Honestly, they seem a lot happier than they were a few weeks ago.

"I'm talking about my parents. They have been rather distant ever since they saw me. Looking sad, really," he explains, licking his lips.

"I think you're looking into it too much. Maybe the just have major jet-lag," I reply, intertwining my hand with his in a comforting way.

"Yeah, probably," he smiles cheekily. I giggle, leaning my head on his shoulder.

"Guys, we're leaving!" Both of our parents call. We both look at each other, "See you soon, beautiful," Andy says. I blush, unable to contain it. "Okay, see you later, handsome," I smile.

I truly hope that this never changes.

I tiredly laid down on my bed, yawning as I do so. Today has been an extra long day. I look down at my wrist and scowl; how can I be so stupid?

Not to mention, selfish. I sighed loudly, I need to stop beating myself up and get over it. I need to get rid of those tiny voices at the back of my head, telling me horrid, untrue things about me and my future.

As these thoughts slowly withered away, I fell into the blissful world called sleep.

"Lizzy, wake up. It's really important," A deep, smooth voice says. "Hmm?" I hum, emerging from unconsciousness.

"Wake up. We need to talk," they say, almost excitedly. I groan, not exactly as elated about leaving my comfy mattress.

"Why?" I mumble grumpily, suddenly agitated. "Don't get an attitude with me sweetie," they call teasingly.

"Ugh, fine," I reluctantly opened my eyes, sleepiness blinding my form of vision. "Finally!" The dis-formed figure throws their hands up.

Once my vision cleared up, I was greeted by Andy; who was all too happy for something. I sit up, rubbing the rest of the sleep out of my eyes. "What are you so happy about?" I yawn, propping myself up on my elbows.

Unexpectedly, Andy lunges himself on the bed, causing me to slam my head on the pillows. "First off, stop being so excited so I don't have to kick your face in, thanks," I laugh, brushing my half auburn and half orangey hair away.

"Just wanted to make sure you were a hundred-percent up and ready to go," he giggles while rolling around in my queen-sized, purple bed. "Ready to go?" I raised my eyebrows.

"Yes! I wanted to take you somewhere," he smiles, showing off his perfectly white teeth. I smile in adoration, his own happiness and excitement rubbing off on my own.

"Can you tell me where we're going?" I ask, awing at how he plays with his now growing hair. "No, I want it to be a surprise!" He smiles brightly, his blue eyes gleaming from the protruding sunlight coming from my window.

Smiling, I ruffle his hair up. "Fine," I groan jokingly. "Yay! But you need to get dressed like now," he tells me quickly, glaring at his batman watch.

"Well, can ya leave? I need to get ready," I say as I get up from my messy bed. "But I wanted to watch," Andy says, disappointed. "How about later?" I wink.

"Really?!" His face lights up, "No! My parents would kill me, then you, then me, again," I state, shaking my head. "Aw, okay," he leaves the room.

"What a tool," I smile, pulling out a few articles of clothing.

I wonder where he's taking me if he's that excited for...
