Our Soul's Music

About  3 months later. I got out my harp and began to play a melody that I would be playing for the wedding.

This mystical melody was one that my mother played when I couldn't sleep. The kicking in my stomach region had soon subsided. 

I finished practice and put my harp in its case. I began to hear Derek walking up to me and listening to my heart beating.

As I looked outside, Derek hugged me and felt my some what large baby bump. I purred at his touch. 

"So the weddings is tomorrow and you mister have to hang out with Scott and your new brother in law" I said smiling. My phone rang and It was Lyra, my cousin, she knew about my wolf side.

She eventually picked me up and we got what I needed. The wedding was going to take place at Silvers Park.

The next morning I woke up at Lyra's. She was already awake and smiling. She made my hair wavy, " John left you a box" Lyra said handing it to me. 

I opened it and inside was a beautiful head piece. It had a note attached to it. 

Claudia would have wanted you to have this. I replaced the plastic stone with a moonstone, She believed that the moonstone would protect you- Dad

I just smiled and Lyra put the head piece on my head and did my make up. After that, Lyra helped me with the dress. "Lyra you got my contacts" I asked her and she gave me the case for them.

 They made sure that the flash didn't cause my eyes to glow. Lyra got them for Scott and Derek.

Stiles was the best man and Lyra was my maid of honer. My phone rang and it was Stiles. "Hey I got your harp here" He said breathless. "See you then bro" I smiled and hung up. Lyra got me to Silver Park. My dad was waiting for me and soon everyone got in place. 

"You ok" My dad asked me. "Just nervous" I replied. "You have your mother's dusk blue eyes" He smiled and kissed my forehead. 

The wedding music started and everyone stood up. My dad wrapped his arm around mine. The white veil over my face. 

My dad began to walk me down the aisle. I saw my brother, Scott, Lyra, Melissa, friends and family. Then I saw the man of my dreams. My dad and I got to the alter and he handed my hand to Derek. 

Derek lifted my veil and smiled. "Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here on this glorious day to witness the union of Derek Hale and Akira Stilinski" The pastor said after everyone seated.

  "Please, repeat after me. "I, Derek Hale"." He continued as Derek and I faced each other. My hands were shaking and Derek held them. 

My nerves settled. "I, Derek Hale. Take you, Akira Stilinski. To have and to hold." He said holding my now calm hands. "For better or for worse" I responded lost in his eyes. "For richer or for poorer." Derek sighed lost in my eyes "In sickness and in health." I replied. "To love." Derek said with his heart beating fast. "To cherish." I said smiling.  "As long as we both shall live." We said in unison.

"I do." He said the official words.  "I do" I said as he looked at my face."May we have the rings" The pastor said and Scott presented them to us. Derek placed the ring on my right ring finger and I did the same to him  "I know pronounce you husband and wife you may kiss the bride" The pastor said and Derek kissed my lips. 

I felt Derek and I lost in the moment. Everyone clapped and smiled. "I love you" He said holding my hand.

Once we got to the reception area I saw Stiles up on a stage. "Can I have everyone's attention please." He said slightly nervous. Everyone had their eyes on him. "My sister, the now beautiful Akira Hale would like to play a piece for her soulmate" He said before the lights went to a deep blue. My harp was on stage. 

I got to a chair and the being inside me started to kick. I took a deep breath and picked up my harp. I closed my eyes and began to play. The kicking stopped and I felt the crowd astounded and I opened my eyes. I saw my dad and Stiles smiling and a few tears slipped from their eyes. I continued to play and I saw Derek just amazed at my playing. 

 After the final note I saw everyone clapping. I smiled and Stiles placed my harp in its case. I saw my dad and he hugged me. 

Derek and I then cut the cake. After that My dad was up on the stage. "Hello, I would like to propose a toast to my new son in law, Take care of my daughter" Dad said and Derek held me close.

Stiles went up next. " Wow never would have expected my sister of all people to get hitched before me, but this day isn't about me its about my sister so sis don't do anything stupid" He said nervous. I then saw my dad take a drink of the fancy chanpane. 

Scott then went up. "Ever since I met Akira she was family to me along with her brother." He said and I looked at Stiles and he was shedding a tear.

Then Derek went up. "I would like to propose a toast to my beloved wife Akira I feel like I have been waiting for you what feels like forever. To Akira" He said and I smiled.

The music came on and everyone started to dance. Derek took my hand and we began to dance. "I didn't know you dance Mr. Hale" I said as everyone watched us. 

"You are very light on your feet Mrs.Hale" He said as my head went to the crook of his neck. I felt everything falling into place. 

Scott came over and hugged me. "Akira may I have this dance" he asked. Derek gave my hand to Scott and we began to dance. 

"I'm so happy for you Akira are you happy" He asked me as the music continued. "Of course I am happy Scott I couldn't ask for more, I married the perfect man and I am carrying precious cargo" I said as a tear went down my cheek. 

Scott looked at my small baby bump and just shrugged. "I bet Stiles was frantic about all of this" Scott said as I listened to his heart beat. "He passed out twice" I smiled. 

I felt a hand touch my shoulder. I grabbed my brothers hand and we began to dance. "My big sister is always perfect no more watching her baby brother" He said his voice shaking. "Stiles I will always be watching you" I said as I felt a tear on my shoulder. 

Then Dad and I began to dance. His protective arms around me holding me, keeping me warm and feeling safe. "Claudia would have loved to see this her own daughter wedding, her grandchild, and to see you happy." He said with his voice trembling. I held my dad in a hug and his heart beat went back to normal. 

Derek came back and wrapped his arm on my side. I inhaled his scent and he kissed my neck. A foreign scent came to my nose. Derek and I followed it and there stood Chris Argent. "Argent why are you interfering with my wedding. " Derek said in a protective voice.

"I came here to warn you two about Gerard, He coming to avenge Kate and he will kill anyone who gets in his way" Chris said looking at me.

Chris left and I felt the being inside me moving. Derek placed a hand on the moving child inside me. It subsided. 

After the reception Derek and I got dressed into movable clothes. Everyone clapped as Stiles and Scott packed up the car with luggage. "So he won't tell you where he is taking you" Melissa asked me. 

I shook my head and she hugged me. "Be careful" She said and Derek opened the car door and I got inside. Then we began to drive off.
